Franklin
Franklin just moved to 18u this summer. Last fall she played in 16u, on a 1st year 16u team, matter of fact and couldn't even hang there. Barely hit her weight and only 1 wind aided HR.
She can tear it up in HS in Louisiana but cant make the transition to elite summer ball. She's a physical specimen that looks good getting off the bus, but isn't an impact player at all.

Yes, she's playing on 16u on a team with at least 5 Power 5 commits and a pool of younger kids that are of equivalent talent. That team is know for being trophy chasers. They should be playing in the 18u division to push their kids but they rather win trophies for social media status.
The Gatorade player of the year from Tennessee plays up on 18u as a 2025. Why is there a team of Power 5 commits 2024s playing 16u?

I know what game I watched and it was plenty of them. I'm not denying the kids talent, I'm just saying she isnt some come in and dominate the SEC type of kid. She's a diva and she get's hit plenty hard. Let's not gloss over the fact her team is a set of trophy chasers playing in 16u with basically a team of D1 of commits instead of playing up in 18u like most other teams of their caliber.
The other kid is Addison Linton and she'll be a power 5 commit come September.

As someone that just spent 10 days in Colorado at one of the largest tournaments in the country and saw this one plus several other LSU recruits in person.....idk what you think this kid is, but she isn't it.
She's not a front of the rotation ace. She's a piece, but she isn't what she's hyped up to be.

Absolute head case and her mom is even worse. You can see where she gets it from. Had enough talent to go much larger than McNeese but big programs recruit parents too.
re: Anyone travel for work?

I travel to our 5 global offices once a year for about a week to 10 days each than a bunch of domestic travel in between. As long as your family is cool with the time away I love it. I got back from Saudi Arabia and Qatar last night.
As others have mentioned I've seen parts of the world I'd never seen on my own, loaded up on travel benefits that pays for my family vacations annually. And the wife sneaks off with me when she can and we extend the trip to places we'd never go.

So we are loaning money to private companies on the basis that they build charge stations in Louisiana?
Or we are forking over cash for this to happen directly
It's a grant program. The federal government is providing incentives for private developers to install the charging infrastructure. The program outlines the requirements to qualify. Think retail, grocery, restaurants, etc that want to offer this service to their customers. You submit a proposal to the state and see if you are awarded the funds.
The company I work for is pretty deep in this program right now with Ohio as they are the first state to issue the requirements.

They have been bargaining since January and can’t reach an agreement. ExxonMobil has a proposal. Why not let the members vote on it? Is the membership too dumb to make the decision?
This plant is off cycle from everywhere else. The larger national agreement is up Jan 31, 22. They know if they bend over now it's a precursor to the larger agreement. XOM is coming in hard with little to no raises and a force majeure clause to allow them to cut wages in a time of need.
The union keeping the employees from voting on something they don't like as a way to protect the national agreement.

Runner should be safe at 1st due to obstruction. Unless......it was ruled that the runner was running outside the base path, then the runner is out on interference.

Job placement where? This is the same company that just announced layoffs of 7000-9000.
A few hand selected people will land, but the majority of that 700 are kicking rocks.

Where you have to commute to is the biggest factor, but taking that out of the equation.
Woodlands
Friendswood
Katy
The rest.
Great schools, reasonable housing prices. Lots of things to do locally in each. I prefer Friendswood because it's closer to salt water fishing, but Woodlands gets you close to fresh water in Conroe and Livingston.
Traffic sucks everywhere.

Saw her in person last season at an Astros game. So fine she stops traffic.
Never seen anything like her in person.
