re: Just found out that my maid (Updated on Pg. 7)

Mine brought her son over while she cleaned and I didn't mind until he got chocolate all over my white couch and she didn't tell me. It never came out and I had to get it recovered....too much of a risk in my opinion. She just turned on the tv while she cleaned and he played in my not child friendly house.
re: Please God someone help me: I have scabies

A few of us got scabies in college from helping in a nursing home.
The doctor gave us a scabacide - a type of lotion to put on your body from your neck down. You wait 15 minutes and then wash it off (because it's not good for you). Here's the thing - you are itching because they burrow in your skin and lay eggs. You have to wait for the eggs to make their way out of your skin. The medicine will kill it but won't remove them.
Exfoliate...and take some anti itch medicine. It gets better.
As someone said above - WASH EVERYTHING.

The snot won't go into your mouth, you're just making the suction for it.

Thanks! We love her! She makes sure I'm not sitting around for too long which is great for me! You're not allowed to be lazy with her unless you want her to destroy your shoes.

I thought Border Collies generally listened very well. I know mine does.
She's a mix of a border collie, Aussie, and Anatolian shepherd. She can focus for a little while and then SQUIRREL...BIRD...
She's two but we got her a year ago and she had a broken shoulder. We couldn't work with her until we had it rebuilt and then rehabbed...she NEEDED training after all that.

You need to attend training with your dog. Sending your dog off for a month teaches the dog commands but it doesn't fix the issue. Good luck!
And yes I have done this with a company called trainmydog here in austin. It's helped tremendously. They worked to get my border collie under control while off leash and they even helped with outdoor relaxed environment manners - like restaurant patios.

Thanks! I love living here. My office is moving downtown next year so I'll be able to walk to work :) it's getting better and better.

OK So for an older crowd not wearing penis and condom veils.
I still recommend staying in that area because it is a good central downtown location.
Food:
Make Reservations EARLY
Uchi
Uchiko
Odd Duck
Foreign and Domestic
Ramen Tatsu-ya
Salty Sow (Great happy hour food and drink)
Olive and June
Qui
Parkside
Clark's Oyster Bar
Sway
East Side King Hole in the Wall
Searsucker
Soto
Barlata
Arro
Squeal
Try to sign up for Car to Go and y'all can use that to get around town. That or Zip Car.
There is a lot of stuff to do on Town Lake - rentals and such. Look up Rocket Electrics Bikes they do electric bike rentals downtown.
Also look up Paddle Zen, they do kayaks, SUP boards, etc.
I would now recommend Rainey St. moreso that I know you ladies are older than college aged.
You can do a brewery tour.
Checkout Austin Beer Garden Brewery as well.
Try and contact the girl at Nail's Y'all - she might do a party if y'all are interested in manicures. She does AMAZING nail art and you can get drunk during your party.

You shut your whore mouth! Overrated? Not a chance. They make their own buns, which are delicious. The burger is juicy, full of flavor, and you can get it medium rare. The specialty burgers are all very good.
Yeah I've tried it a few times BUT I don't have a good base opinion because I got the black bean burger and that might be a sin. The nutella pretzel milkshake is amazing and you get a free shake on your birthday.
The thing about hopdoddy that drives me INSANE is the ordering process. Don't go with a group. You wait outside, then wait inside, then each person orders, then in that same order you each pay...not at the same time you order...but after everyone in your party orders and then you line up again. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.

Prob won't do that since half those attending are married with kids and we aren't college age. Thanks for all the suggestions, this is a good starting point.
Well then my assumption was wrong! Let me line out something that people my age (32) would do.

I like your suggestions but visitors LOVE to go to those places.
Your dinner suggestions are great! I was just assuming that a bachelorette party wasn't going to drop that kind of money on dinner.
I just went to Uchi recently and made a reservation again for tonight :)
I had Steiner Steakhouse a few weeks ago for a group of people and that steak was GREAT.
I'll have to checkout the others.
I did not like the ambiance of Perry's.

LINK
It looks like this is really close to the convention center. This is in walking distance to south congress, 6th street, rainey st, etc. You can catch a cab anywhere else or use uber or a Pedicab.
There are also a lot of restaurants in walking distance.
Brunch on Sundays before you get out of town is a great idea but you will have to wake up early.
Bars: **I'm assuming this is a wild penis wearing bachelorette party**
Dirty 6th:
Cheers
Maggie Mays
Shakespears
Library Bar
West 6th:
The Ranch
Molotov
Rio
Kung Foo Saloon (Get the pickle shots with tito's vodka)
Dirty Bill's
Pete's Piano Bar (girls love piano bars)
Rainey St started as a great place that locals frequented - as it gets more popular it's getting a little more wild. It's not hipster, there are a lot of fun places to go but you won't be drunk dancing to a dj. It's still fun to check out.
There are a bunch of food trucks for drunk food - chilantro is definitely worth checking out!
Restaurants:
Benji's Cantina
Torchy's
Polvos
Breakfast tacos at Tacodeli
Blacks BBQ on Barton Springs
Food trucks on South Congress
I think Hopdoddy is overrated and man the line is ridiculous - don't waste your time.
Trudy's
Chuy's
Daytime Activities:
float the river (though November might be too cold)
Sip on cocktails at Hula Hut or Oasis where you get a lake view for sunset
Rent kayaks and paddle around Town Lake
Mount Bonnell for sunset (not in walking distance)
Walk down south congress and shop!
If you are looking for something more 'expensive' I can write that up, too. There are a lot of great foodie restaurants like Barley Swine, Odd Duck, Foreign and Domestic, etc.

How many people are you looking to have in the rental? Around when are you going? I can help find a good place/area. My friends come out here all the time for bachelorette parties, etc.
I can also help point you to bars, restaurants in your budget. :)

It's advertising and it's sad. My nephew asked for them for Christmas 3 years ago and didn't touch them after that day.
