We have a joint account that we use for big items (travel, home, emergency, etc….). But also have separate checking accounts. It never has come up or been discussed as to why or combining it, or really any conversation about it. Married 25 years this year.
I yearn for the days of having a nasty offensive and defensive line and just exerting your will and wearing down a team. Give me I-formation and a play action offense and a nasty D. Just be meaner and badder than your opponent.

I literally laughed out loud. You can’t make this shite up
I was about to say, a lot of talent having their last game in Tiger Stadium. Thanks for being Tigers. Doing something I could have only dreamed of, but enjoyed as a student

I would not be upset with Matt Campbell

The John Adams miniseries on HBO years ago was first rate
. I have heard that and plan to watch it soon. I am also interested in the spies and want to read about them and the Swsmp Fox. Any book recommendations?

I've been enjoying this one a lot. I do agree with the poster above in that I wish they went into a little more detail of the actual Declaration of Independence. It seemed like that was glossed over in about ten minutes.

I was thinking the same thing. I am really enjoying this, and do enjoy all of the battle information. I am learning, or in some cases re-learning so much. However, I do wish I knew more about what was going on or went on during the Continental Congress and other meetings outside of the war itself. They do touch on here and there about Franklin in France. I thought there would be more John Adams. That said, I think this is a very good documentary and I am looking forward to the final episode tonight.

NFL gear in Sears catalogs from early 70s were awesome

I got a Fran Tarkenton jersey out of that Sears catalog 3 or 4 Christmas's in a row.

Minnesota is completely stumping me. I know that Fran Tarkenton wore #10 and he was replaced by Tommy Kramer #9. But I can’t remember anyone who wore #6 for the Vikings. Maybe Tommy Kramer wore #6 and later switched to #9?

I do not recall who # 6 was. You are correct, Kramer wore #9. I do recall though, as a kid, I received the Tarkenton jersey about 4 Christmas' in a row from this very catalog. He was my guy, even growing up in New Orleans. Odd, I was just thinking of this very item yesterday.
I can say when I was there for the 84-87 seasons, it was damn good. Loud as hell, always packed, good teams, the band got and kept the crowd engaged. Hard to imagine it better. (Yes, I may be a little biased). I did also have season tickets til 98, so I did experience lesser times as well.

Yes, I believe that is correct. I have dug out some old photos recently and found some recently from Bob Morgan and there was one of me and coach Louie. And my MVP trophy??

I played for Bob Morgan in Lafayette in the mid 70’s. Rode in that very same Red VW van. I remember a Coach Louie being my favorite coach.
We went as a family a few years ago the first week of June. Stayed in a cabin in Silver Gate, MT, right outside the NE entrance to the park. This requires you to drive through Lamar Valley to get to anywhere else in the park. Crowds are lighter at this time, but still plentiful of course. The main thing is you will see a lot of the 'babies'. We saw tons of the young bison, but also saw grizzly sow and cubs, moose cow and baby. If I go back I would pick this time again.

As far as where we stayed, I would pick this same location. No TV, limited cell service, great drive each day to get to our destination. Silver Gate Lodging.
My recurring dream is I am in college, I had not gone to a particular class all semester. It is time for finals and I have no idea where the classroom is and I wake in a panic
I don't let it affect my day in the slightest, it was just a question for conversation.
Reece will be gloating and painting LSU in a bad light for sure. Herbie will surely be discussing how Tiger Stadium was a shell of itself last Saturday night. McAfee will do his stupid fake accent and spew shite like he knows what things are really like in Louisiana. Saban will likely be trying his best to remain neutral because you know they are going to ask him, even jokingly, what would he do if LSU comes calling. Not that this will make things any worse, I just hate seeing LSU being publicly embarrassed, which right now we are a laughing stock, and tomorrow morning, you know there will be an entire segment on it, nationwide, first thing on Saturday morning.
Arnsparger was coach while I was there. Those were some good teams and peak Tiger stadium

They were certainly making a thing of it, that is for sure.
