The race for positions 4 through 10 will be the best racing and drama of the weekend, as it has for the last few years. Mercedes dominated qualifying last year and Ferrari pulled the upset because of mistakes, so it may be interesting to see. I wish there was some more parity amongst the teams but looking like a two team breakaway for 2019

Going to be a good race. Both Bs and C mains are filled with talent. Best racing of the year!

They have SEC tie in, but it’s 11th on choice...almost impossible to get an SEC team at that position. Saying that....this match up is garbage, hopefully weather will be good and tailgates will be nice
re: Goodbye Net Neutrality; Hello Competition

Net neutrality does absolutely nothing to encourage OR discourage competition, I believe there will be more competition with LESS government interference or regulation. Big companies like at&t, Verizon, Comcast etc have benefited more from the regulation than any start up or smaller company. Government regulation will never encourage innovation thus the repeal of NN and further de-regulation of the industry will help move technology along quicker.
And again, my point is based on rural internet availability or lack of, and the HOPE that more competition will be good for everyone.

I don’t think NN had or has anything to do with companies investing in technology, I do believe however that now that the government isn’t propping up the companies that finger bang you assholes there will be more competition. Free market absolutely encourages competition, for you to not understand that proves you should stay away from adult conversations

I agree that for now it won’t surpass fiber, but considering most of the country is not high density urban areas fiber won’t be predominant in most areas....especially the area I live. Companies currently have no incentive to run expensive fiber into low population areas. Again, no problem with that issue I only hope market competition will drive companies to develop more wireless options and better service.
I’m not tech savvy but I thought I read somewhere where there is technology in development using LED lighting to beam internet? My main interest in all this is due mainly to the area I live.....absolutely love living in the country but I have shite for options technology wise

Wired internet will be the rotary phone in just a few years, allowing more companies to offer services. I live in a rural area that only offers 1 provider and shitty internet....I’m looking forward to seeing market competition and less government involvement.
re: First BB gun for daughter- pink or no?
Posted by MOJO mod on 12/23/17 at 9:36 am
My daughter got a Cricket .22 for Christmas at age 3. We shoot it once or twice a month and spend 30 minutes talking gun safety. She’s 8 now and can bullseye all day with it but she heard me tell the story of my greatest Christmas ever as a young boy getting a Red Ryder BB gun. Bought her the pink one last night, can’t wait to see her open it!

That's the way kids were treated in those days, they weren't given Tahoes at 16 and Mustangs at 18. That's what is wrong with all these pansy kids today...spoiled.
I just binged Mad Men for first time as well though...great series.

There is no way tyrion knows about jons parents. I think he might have been a little annoyed that neither dany nor jon told him that jon "bent the knee", so he was caught off guard at the pit. Then he also is probably concerned bc dany will turn to jon now for guidance. Also maybe some concern that jon and dany are going to have too much power if they marry? Hell, maybe tyrion was hoping dany would make him the heir if she dies. No way it happens now.
Tyrion found out Cersei was preggers, probably told her Dany couldn't get pregnant and that was how they settled in the end. Tyrion looking at the room Jon and Dany are boning in and he is praying she can't get pregnant now....I think Tyrion is playing both sides now
Dark colored snake wrapped around a hawk?
Posted by MOJO mod on 7/30/17 at 11:28 pm
I've never seen anything like it. Found a snake wrapped around a large hawk. Guess the hawk tried to kill snake and the snake wrapped around hawks neck and body. Was able to kill the snake and unwrapped the snake from the hawk....after about 2 minutes of catching its breath the hawk flew away. No idea what kind of snake, it was dark, almost black with similar pattern to a copperhead....but I don't know my snakes that well. Have seen a lot of these snakes, they are quick moving maybe a racer? Anyway, CSB I know, it was definitely a cool thing to see
re: RIP Coke Zero

Yes, launched in 2005 and is one of just a few brands that can say was a billion dollar brand before the 10 year mark. Again, slight formula change, reinvigorated graphics...if you like Coke Zero now you'll love the Coke Zero Sugar.

New version tastes more like Coke Classic....that's what they have been aiming for to begin with. It won't be much different than Coke Zero is now, you'll never notice the difference.

Watched first episode....really solid. Jason Bateman is really good....not digging Laura Linney but she does a nice slut piece.
re: Are Bottas and Hamilton equals?

Bottas will be out of that seat if he keeps winning....Hamilton won't like that much. Hamilton is super talented but such a little bitch
If they are truly 15 years old, then as a parent right after I hire a lawyer and sue the frick out of CNN, I'm turning around and beating his arse for being a dumbshit. I'm all for 1st amendment rights but also believe there are consequences in everything you do/say. That's what is truly fricked up in this country, there is no personal accountability for what most of these dumb asses do.

re: Natchitoches, LA Recommendations

Merci Boucoup is pretty good. Lasyones is decent, not the greatest. Mama/Papa's on front street decent with decent atmosphere on Thursday/Friday.
Overall, Natchitoches food is pretty overrated, but it's better than Alexandria
