Never will buy a GM vehicle again, ever.

This was me last year. I've been a GM guy all my life, but the last couple we've had were complete shite. All kinds of stuff failing well below 100k miles.

Was in the market for a new truck last year, and bought a 2024 Tundra in October. I wasn't crazy about going with the turbo V6, but so far I haven't had any issues (knock on wood). I did buy extended warranty for a bit more peace of mind.

You're right. All Bama fans are supporting the guys who are charged with murder. It's sick. :banghead:
Kind of what's happening by opposing fans...

Let's assume it was Miller who pulled the trigger and Miles assisted (Miles and Miller both would be in jail right now)... but Miles is expendable and Miller is useful.
Why would anyone do that? Isn't it more fun to act like Miller was the trigger man so they can shite on Bama?

I know this will be hard to hear but I’ll say it anyway. There is still a lot of information we don’t know, and that matters in this situation. Take some time off this issue until it is all released.

Please, educate us, since you obviously know the answer.

My wife makes one with dill, but it has sour cream and mayo I think. Anyway, the dill really adds something to it in my opinion.

Your story sounds so familiar it's scary. I had to install double cylinder dead bolts at my parents' house last weekend. Dad has a gps tracker provided by the Sheriff's Office through a program for dementia patients. We've had to call them a few times in the last 6 months to find him.

The toll this takes on caregivers is unfathomable. Good luck to anyone dealing with this.
No only for monthly bills, etc. But if they have any real assets you need to talk to someone about planning for long term care needs.

It may seem like that's in the distant future, but it comes fast. Medicare rules are something to also look into.

Sorry OP but first off.. this^^^ has to stop

This is correct. My dad was diagnosed in 2016. He was a truck driver. The day we found out he couldn't remember directions/follow traffic rules we had to take his keys. One of the most difficult things I've ever done.

To the OP. Your MIL or someone else better get a handle on the finances as soon as possible. My mom ignored me early on when I brought this up, and we are paying for it now. This disease will get expensive. I strongly recommend finding an estate attorney or financial advisor familiar with these type situations.

Combine the breathable boxer briefs with Anti Monkey Butt powder.

Riding my motorcycle in summer used to get me until I tried this combo.

Wow!

Yeah, mean tweets are way worse than what we have now.

I’m not a big Biden guy. I agree he’s a weak leader and wished we had a better choice. But I could not vote for Trump.

:banghead:

Even in hindsight, you better believe these idiots would vote for Biden again in a heartbeat, because mean tweets.

When the alternative - Trump - is a sociopath who would have used his additional 4 years to destroy American democratic institutions and ensure that packed courts remove any obstacle to his aspiration to be "President for life," I would have literally voted for ANYONE who was not Trump.

The organizing concept of the new "Republican" party is loyalty to Führer Trump. Literally nothing else.

So yeah

I really hope this is a troll. Dear God.
Good info here, but he fails to consider adverse effects, which is convenient for his argument.

Timmons is a peculiar sort of stereotype of a Sherriff.

You could say he is hiding the fact that Alabama Sherriff's are able to keep permit funds and do what he wishes with the money, including taking it for himself personally.

The inmate food accounts are the same way -and people have been trying yo do away with that for over a decade now. I dont know how that is going.

So it is NOT for any issue of guns rights it is for stuffing Bobby's pockets with money.

and Alabama suffers on from this legacy of Sherriff abuses.

Article about Timmons supporting giving 'hisself' permit funds.. with a picture of this good old boy

Alabama Sherriffs are a pathetic lot of pilfering thugs

Like I said, same with inmate food funds... Sherriffs in North Alabama have been removed when discovered how much money they were pilfering while feeding inmates frozen corndogs (Tigah bait! Tigah bait! Tigah bait!) and nothing but frozen corn dogs for months at a time. Sherrifs formerly could do whatever they wanted with these funds - a lot pocketed it.

Remind me again - who are the criminals?

Ana Franklin of Morgan County ran against her opponent for this; and when she got in started doing it herself, until prosecuted for failing to file personal taxes..

Unbelieveable! At least this grift has been banned.. An"investment"! An investment in a local used car lot that eventually failed and pursued for other fraud!

Thank goodness this trash and this despicable law have been removed..

This. It's all about the permit fees.

but the risk from the virus was greater than the vaccine.

Evidently not.
I have used fumoto valves on numerous vehicles. Some of them drain a little slow. That would be my only complaint.

Also used a Time-Sert on an aluminum oil pan on a VW Jetta. Worked great and never had another issue. However, the install might be a bit involved for someone not comfortable drilling into their oil pan.

As mentioned, aluminum isn't why the oil plug fails. Impact wrenches are usually the culprit.

ETA: I had a leaky plug that I installed a fumoto valve in. I used petroleum rated teflon tape on the threads which worked until I sold the truck. This might work for minor leak.

Is it “1984” to show proof of licensure to operate a vehicle?

Is it “1984” that all sorts of jobs require certification?

The fact is, “showing your papers” is already a thing in all sorts of basic everyday activities.

WOW. This is next level reaching.
I feel for you, man. My wife is preparing to do the same when the time comes. And it's coming.
