I grew up two minutes down Forsythe from there. No one has been home today so no clue what shape the house/neighborhood is in
quote:Yeah, Garden District is in between Forsythe and Louisville right next to the levee
Wait that's by Forsythe right?

I've never known there to be sirens in Monroe/WM. Granted, in my lifetime there's never really been a situation for them to be used until now. We always get strong storms but we rarely have serious tornado threats like this
Do you know the suspected path of this thing? I'm curious if it went anywhere near my house
My ULM friends said class was cancelled..?

They test them every first Wednesday of the month. You can definitely hear them downtown

I think there are tornado sirens in some areas of BR. I've heard them being tested before
Do we even have tornado sirens in BR?

Our students suck.
I'm not saying I support every word we yell, but saying that we suck as a whole is a bit much. If the whole student section were to stay silent and let the rest of the stadium carry the load on a third down play, Death Valley would sound like a damn Kentucky home game.

quote:It's not that we aren't showing up and thereby not filling that section; it's that we all want to be closer to the action, so we all pack the lower sections like sardines rather than sitting all the way up there.
The number of student tickets needs to be reduced.

What brand/kind you got?
You?
Guitar, piano, ukulele, mandolin

I'd take any seat in the stadium. But as others have said, nothing beats the Student Section. Being there for last Saturday is something I'll remember my whole life. We constantly stand, constantly yell, and the people around you turn into your best friends during the games.
The stadium was alive. At the end of the third, the bench was going crazy and we were too. Then there's the JC play, and the Landry catch. So loud.
