What happened? Had second thoughts after your long-arse "goodbye" thread? Needed a new name because you couldn't stay away?

OMG. An apology might be warranted but not to these jackasses. Hey Ross, didn't you say that you were going to renounce your AU fandom? Well? Are you or aren't you?

I would feel the exact same way if my LSU Tigers were going thru this situation
Believe me you have no clue how AU fans feel...or how you would feel if the shoe were on the other foot.
And for an AU poster to have trolled here and read the hate, the bs rumors, the perpetuation of them, etc....and come with his pussy tail between his legs apologizing to the very people that would love nothing more than to firebomb AU back to the stone age.....nope. 1. Not an AU fan. or 2. Doesn't deserve to be.

This is my first post here (I've lurked for a while) so I'm gonna cover a couple things in this, mainly the Georgia game and Camgate. Been thinking about making this post since the media broke the story a week ago, and the UGA game pushed me over the edge. Wall o' Text inc.
What happened at the Georgia game was completely inexcusable, in my opinion. Fairley played really dirty (though I personally believe that the knee shot was uninentional) as he has been all season, and something needs to happen. That being said, there was poor sportsmanship on both sides of the ball, on a level that I've never seen in this rivalry since I started going to the games in '05. I, along with many other Auburn and Georgia fans, I'm sure, had always thought of this as a very friendly rivalry, but I'm afraid that last night may have changed that for a very long time - similar to the "Cigar Game" in 1999 for LSU.
As for Camgate, I have seen the writing on the wall for a while and am scared to death for what is going to be coming for us. It sounds like, with the FBI involved, that they are going through ALL of our recruiting, not just the recruiting of Newton, and if that's the case then we're going to be looking at some very serious, almost SMU-caliber sanctions on the program. I've had a bad feeling about this since I heard about the rumors back in February, and can wholeheartedly say that right now it is NOT great to be an Auburn Tiger.
If all this turns out to be true, then we absolutely and completely deserve every bit of punishment that we get, and hopefully something will be done to get certain boosters out of control of our (AU fans) beloved football program. This also doesn't bode well for the rest of the SEC, or college football in general, because it looks to me like Auburn is just the beginning.
Just my two cents. Take it for what it's worth.
1. Cliff notes
2. I am not buying you being an Auburn fan
3. If this is an attempt to make posters from other teams like you, FAIL. IF you are an AU fan, prepare for the hatred.

Don't stop believin'! Got evidence?
I am guessing the cryptic one here is referring to Lattimore...Lache has already gone on the record that everything was on the up and up. No one has heard anything out of Lattimore....but why stop now "I have sources too! Look at me!!"

Does it seem a bit...um....curious to anyone else that this is the method that Cecil Newton chooses to make his big announcement? By what? Mentioning to an aquaintance in passing? What is this??

If AU has indeed been advised to sit Cam and they don't, Chiz just stepped into the Dale Brown realm. It didn't work out to well for Daddy Dale.
They haven't. Why? :dunno:
re: How does this compare to the Albert Means case?
Posted by groltiger on 11/12/10 at 2:40 pm
The only common thread is the idea of pay for play...but hell, I think the REC $ went to Albert Means' coach, no?
Everything else is different...AU didn't pay, Bama did.

If you are so awesome (because you have nothing better to do with you time than post 60,000 times on this site, btw get a job), why haven't you managed to get the frick out and find a new team yet?
shut up Mr. 1 post

I don't want to be associated with a dirty program that would pay 200,000 dollars to secure the signature of one guy.
Absolutely worst case scenario...with coaches that have been around less than 2 years....several of them and some boosters all conspired to buy Cam. If that happened, let's kick them the hell out, go on probation, and move on. AU hasn't had any trouble since 1992.....18 years. I wouldn't call that a dirty program.
Either way, Benedict Arnold, why don't you just go on ahead and get the frick out?
