Mako is a favorite of mine. almost like pork in texture.

I marinate mine in 50/50 soy sauce/ pineapple juice. delicious.

this thread is stupid. pistol or rifle? what caliber? how far was the target? if this was with a glock 19 at 100 yards, it is amazing.
good boots, hat, gloves are a must. I live in a very rural, very cold place so I keep what i call my "winter survival bag" in my vehicle for about 6 months out of the year. I keep in it, a -20 degree sleeping bag, candles, waterproof matches, leatherman, shovel, sternos, first aid kit, little folding sterno stove thing (so i can melt snow), pot, canned soups, granola bars, emergency blankets, rope and a few things im forgetting at the moment.

This might be overkill as I dont know how rural you will be. ANother good idea is kitty litter. you can sometimes pour it under a spinning tire and it will give you enough traction to get unstuck.

it is seriously miserable. I keep a pretty stout winter survival bag in my vehicle at all times.

Last day of deer season

Posted by SECMAN16 on 12/31/18 at 2:57 pm
Its the last day of deer season for me...but is -15 degrees with a windchill of -40 so I think I am going to wait till next year.

Here's to next next!!
Devils Lake is about as good as it gets. I always go to Lake of the Woods.

It’s a gift certificate to use with Sportmans Lodge. I am going to call this morning and find out more. Looks nice on the website.

Ive been fishing through Sportsmans several times. they are great. the owner and I are acquaintances-they are good people. you will have a great time.

I am actually going myself on January 11.
I live in northern Minnesota and go ice fishing regularly. What lake?

its a scam. they need to go to an attorney who specializes in estate planning.
Im no expert, but I am guessing the plaintiffs have no case as their action would be barred by the statute of limitations or repose.

Im pretty sure he wasnt doing CPR.
I recently returned from Belgium. The Easy Company foxholes by Foy and Bastogne are still there. Seeing the actual foxholes in the middle of the woods was very sobering and made me appreciate the series even more. I can also vouch that the scenery and and woods in BoB are identical to the real thing.
wright leather works

Wright leather works makes excellent holsters. The link is to their holster which can be worn IWB and OWB. I can assure you that the holster will be snug and will fit your gun like a glove.
that is a walleye. Saugers dont have the white tip on the bottom tail fin.
As a person who lives and hunts in northern Minnesota, I can affirm that no one up here hunts in sitka or under armour.

I am sure that those companies make fine products, but the key to staying warm is layering. you dont need expensive gear to stay warm, even in the coldest of conditions.
