Come on dude. The implication is that both assertions are ridiculous....which they are. Democrat or Republican, that's funny.

maybe to people that care about politics, some of us watch football to get away from that shite.

It's a swipe at Elizabeth Warren...because this board can't even hate on the SEC without somehow incorporating politics.

FTFY
We won a national championship with 2 losses in the BCS era when only 2 teams got a shot at it. ANYTHING is possible.
you think Les Miles gives a shite about this site?
No, because only Les and his guys could have recruited this team.

Thanks for being a lazy dumbass. If you would have actually created a petitin, I would have wasted time signing it with 3 clearly fictitious names.

Not sure if this is the ultimate irony or a clever troll.

I remember when Jeremy Hill was a lock to return

even the most avid LSU fan has to admit Jeremy was a punk.. he was always only "team Jeremy".. he owed Miles after going out on a limb for him twice and he bolted.

Fournette has LSU in his blood. He'd be a little foolish to play his senior year, given the miles his body that he will have already clocked for the Tigers.. but if I had to make a wager long before their stints at LSU started regarding who would stay 4 years out of Hill and Fournette, I'm taking Leonard every time and it isn't close.
Les is already on it, baw.

His high school is literally a block from my house... he'd jump on an LSU offer I'm pretty sure. Same high school as Stephen Peterman, maybe ol Pete can give him a call.

Look what Michigan did with Harbaugh. LSU has funds to attract an elite coach if we really are serious about wanting to be the premiere program in the country.

Harbaugh is a former player at Michigan. Michigan didn't just go pluck an elite level NFL coach.

Everytime this thread comes up, hilarity ensues. Some of you really overvalue what it is to be the LSU head coach. As much as Les has won, and all you still hear about is 2008 (where he lost his only game due to poor clock management vs Ole Miss) and 1/9/2012. Then, lets make a "wish list" of coaches that will NEVER come here:

"Saban as head coach, Urban Meyer as OC!!"

"Oh, I bet Bill Belichick would accept if offered!"

"Lets hire the ghost of Knute Rockne!"

Very realistic. The problem is that when those teams lose, LSU will jump them in the ranking. However, when they win their conference championship they will jump LSU in the final rankings. Good possibility that LSU gets back into the top 4 before the end of the season but ends up on the outside looking in after conference championship weeken

That's the way it's SUPPOSED to work, tell OSU that in 2011... and don't say it was because of the BCS computers because the computers didn't put Alabama in , the human polls did.
Since it's nationally televised game, the CBS feed out of Miami (that's where the Elation and Dream's cable feed is out of) will have it in your room at least. I watched LSU and Saints in the aft of the lido deck at that little bar for the USCe and Philly game week a few weeks ago. Cole Porter lounge is better, but you better get there at noon if you want a spot. It's small with sofas. We got there at 9am for a noon Saints game at it was packed.

I wish we had played them at Camp Randle this. I would love to see the jump around for myself.

I think both fanbases got screwed on this deal. They got to visit Houston instead of the best campus in college football.

Would LSU have gotten in the BCS game if they had lost 9-6?

Hell no. Just like if Alabama was undefeated in week 7 of the season, no way would they be #4 behind 3 teams they'd mow down like grass. They'd be #1 no doubt, at worst #2 because OSU is the defending champs.
Why all the Gainesville hate? I've never been but i'd think that would be better than Starkville, MS Auburn, AL or Fayetteville, AR.. but apparently I'm wrong. Whats up there?
humility is an act that is put forward to not appear cocky. You think for one second that if coach gave Guice twice as many carries as Fournette that he would sit back and be "humble" and say "well, maybe I need to go work harder so coach will give me more snaps".. um no...part of being the best is KNOWING you're the best, and not letting anyone tell you differently.
You don't become the best at what you do by being humble.
