He’s been nominated by two separate NFL franchises as Walter Payton MOTY. there are A LOT of options less qualified, passionate, and recognizable to young athletes

They have an alum in the same position without the baggage an hour down the road. Blake makes too much sense.
Seems like some players made it clear the 9am meeting wouldn’t be sunshine and rainbows and they postponed until interims are named so they can turn the team meeting into a rallying call for team pride with staff that stayed etc.

When this went to basically a 15-16 week season and they didn’t put a moratorium on staff movement until after the CFP…
This is never an issue in the pros, but you could imagine how it would cause similar player discontent, feelings of abandonment, etc.
The NCAA allowed this free for all to start before Thanksgiving and had CLK choosing BETWEEN a clear promotion and an emotional run. Where he should never have to choose, the players should never have to deal with coaching changes after 11-1 and a GOAT season. But this is the beast they’ve created. Will they rein it in?

I’ve said it before. Love Graff when we’re good. Can’t stand him when we’re bad. He’s a real fan, the dejection in his voice during bad stretches makes it impossible for me to listen to though.

Honestly with the intensity of his rehab I’m not counting out that he comes back with a chip on his shoulder and plays like an all star. Then we just figure it out and treat it as lagniappe.
