We don't take money from the education budget. The athletics department prints money every time we're on TV.
re: The concept of contract renegotiations baffles me

As an employer, if you are good at what you do, you have an exit clause in the contract with the person you are hiring. As a valued employee, if you are good at what you do, you have an exit clause in the contract with the company hiring you or extending your contract. In both cases, you have met your obligation to the one you are contracting with if they leave or are terminated. It doesn't matter how many years you signed the contract for, it matters whether or not you have met the obligation of the contract. It's obvious no one knows what his contract says. As is said, "it's not personal, it's business." After all, his REAL obligation is to his family, not thousands of whiners who are crying that he's only 75-18 since he's been here. Didn't he have one of the top graduating classes in the SEC too or did I dream that?

Ft. Worth.

This is a Big12 offense run in the SEC. You'll win games with it, but it will never be pretty. Most people want a beautiful offense like what Oregon or Boise State run, but it's not in Les' DNA. He is what he is; a run first, pass to get out of trouble if you can, and brutalize them on defense, coach.
re: You could plug almost any QB into lineup

Ditto. Scheme is everything at LSU with Les in charge. If you think we're going to average 300 yards per game passing, you're clueless. If you think passing will ever take presidence over running, you're even more hopeless. The formula is pound the ground and pass when you have to pass. It is what it is and I for one like that we're undefeated this year and have only lost 1 game in the last 18. Give me the honest opportunity to go to the SEC championship every year and I'll be happy.

I'm out. I just can't stand to watch this any longer. We need a hitting instructor. I wonder what SB's is doing next year?

It's sad. LSU is playing on television and I'm scanning Netflix to see what I want to watch instead. :wah:

You people are idiots. You have no idea who LSU will get to replace him. Knee jerks.
re: Ron Brooks Draft Status......

He'll be one of those guys that people can't believe he was around in the later rounds. I think he's maturing as a player. It may be a little late for LSU fans but it will all come together in the NFL.

I live in the metroplex. If you're flying into the DFW area and are just interested in going to the game, then stay in Irving but if you want to hang out Friday and Saturday night, stay in Dallas close to downtown so you can hang out in uptown, midtown, or downtown. Lots more to do in a smaller radius than in Arlington. Downtown Ft. Worth would be my second choice. Arlington's got nothin'.
