Right.... I get that. My original question was, would it be possible to get that image above in a vector format? I've downloaded that software you recommended, looks like it will be useful. But now I have two programs that can handle vector files, and still I'm wondering how I can download that image above in SVG, EPS, AI, or PDF with its original vector properties. Am I missing something? Is the underwritten message, no, go make one yourself? Haha... That's totally fine is so, just trying to smell what you're steppin' in. Thanks for your help and patience with this noob. :nana:

Forgive my ignorance.... I don't have photoshop or anything, I've been using Bluebeam PDF editor that I have for work to create some logos for my tailgate. (making due with what I've got)I dont know that SVG is supported. Either way, everytime I try to save that logo above, the only file type I can select is PNG, and it gets fuzzy when stretched a few inches.

Any ideas for a novice without the right tools? No worries if not. Thanks for the help.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead.... But I'm looking for this LSU staircase logo as a true vector file. Any help would be appreciated.
I know the parts required to make this are all over ebay, but does anyone know of a local place (BR,nola, north shore) that would be a one stop shop for something like this?

We're about to purchase the setup for our tailgate, but give that we're days away from game one, will probably be going old school the first week..... unless there is some place to get these supplies locally. Anyone know of a place?
Would absolutely love to land RSJ. Total beast of an athlete. :geauxtigers:

I hate Alabama. I hate everything Alabama. When I go to Pensacola, I go through Tennessee and Georgia. I hate red, I will never use it for anything..I greatly dispise it. My wife got a stuffed elephant toy for my dog, she couldn't find it cuz I threw it away. I only use purex for laundry and quit watching espn. frick Alabama and everyone who lives there.

Consider the length of a sideline. Now consider the size of an endzone. Does that help you understand?

:dope:

This.....

quote:

You do know that the length of the East Upper Deck is roughly 490 linear feet measured from the north side to the south side relative to the back of the lower bowl. Using the exact same line that the expansion would run along the second level of the south endzone it measures roughly 555 linear feet along the outer bowl edge. To spell that out, Tiger Stadium has more length in the south endzone than the previous two expansions have along the sidelines.

This is what I was getting at. I'm afraid that when the design comes out, it's gonna be some little poonanie upperdeck that doesn't litterally "connect" the other two.

For those that can't visualize how a true south endzone "enclosure," should equal to a larger upper deck than the two existing, just google map it in satalite mode. This is a simple observation from directly above the stadium. A new upper deck that connects the other two at the upper most corners and continues the radius or shape of the bowl should equal to waaaay more than 7K of new seating.
What I don't get is, if the other two upper deck's seat in the neighborhood of 12K people each... Then why is the estimated additional seats created by "enclosing," the south end of the upper decks only 7K??? I understand suits are a big part of it but I would expect that total to be much higher. A true "enclosure," connecting the tops of both upper decks should have a similar or greater seating capacity than either existing upper deck.

Then again, I'm not an architect.

re: How nervous are you?

I wanted bama for this very reason. This Championship stands out amongst the others. It will be the hardest earned, and unlike the path of our apponent, there have been no lucky breaks. We have more to win for than they do. NO ONE in the country will doubt we are the campions if we win because, we've had to fight for and earn it more than any other. A bama win would lack this .

Nervous does not describe it at all. I'm excited. Pumped up. Anxious as all hell. I'm getting amped just thinking about it. We've got something to prove, and I can't wait for us to get out there and do it.

To be the best, you've gotta beat the best (twice).
I would rather play Bama. It would make a NC win that more meaningful. That said, call me crazy but, I think OSU pulls it off tonight.

Either way... This team is ready. :geauxtigers:

I'm sure #2 Tennessee felt the same way when they played us back in 2001. They were already booking their flights to LA and hotel rooms in Pasadena. We all know how that turned out.

Agreed.... Keep head on straight and stay focused. No time to get cocky.

We do this, we make to New Orleans.

Thanks.... You're a great help
haha, dont worry.... I left my laptop back in BR.

I think me and a bunch of LSU buddies will be catching most of the game at their "1716," bar. Nice setup, has a lot of TV's. Then again, we will be playing the weekend by ear.
