If we can stay healthy we should be in good shape to have a great season. I was very impressed with the tackling out in space. The passing game needs some work but hopefully we will stay healthy and progress.

Quote "Lee seems to panic when he thinks he is going to get hit. And it affects his whole game. Notice on the fumble. He was afraid to recover it."
I believe he could have recovered that ball had he acted quickly but he hesitated like he was worried about getting hit. I agree that he often looks scared and not comfortable. That said, he did what he was asked to do, receivers dropped catchable balls, and he managed to not throw an interception. Hopefully he will improve as the season goes on.

Translation - I don't have the first clue what was suppose to happen on that play or what play was really called, but we have a want to get it done. :banghead:

Offensively we need to control the clock, no turnovers, and take advantage of their secondary(for some points). Defensively we need to contain Newton, stay in gaps, team tackle, and produce turnovers (hopefully for some points).
Special teams wise we need to cover kick offs and punts effectively, get some great returns without penalties (hopefully for some points), and Jasper needs to have a good game kicking.
In summary, if we score more than them we win. :banghead: :geauxtigers:

Lee. It's nothing against Ridley as I'm sure our running game would suffer to some extent without him. But the difference going from Ridley to our crew of backups is not remotely as big as the difference we've seen between Lee and Jefferson.
We definitely have more backup talent at running back. We would miss Ridley but not as much as JL.

Put the Dos Equis down and move away from the computer...
Just kidding. I hope whoever is in at QB plays their best. Let's face it, LM will play both and so we need both to play their best and we need a team effort - offensively, defensively, and on special teams.

re: LSU-Aub Excuse Agreement

No excuses! The only thing that matters is a win today. Forget about the past 7 games or any team rankings, BCS or otherwise. Let's play like there is no tomorrow and leave everything on the field. Let the best of the West win. Good luck and :geauxtigers:

Stats are nice but the key will be to contain Newton and win the turnover battle. IMHO :geauxtigers:

The offense seems to gain confidence when Lee is in the game. They know that he can complete a third down pass because he has proven it. If it is obvious that Lee is playing better at the position why doesn't he see the most playing time? :geauxtigers:
