Wife and I decided around 3pm the Friday of championship weekend to drive up there with our two young daughters (9 and 10). We left BR around 6, got a hotel room around Fayetteville at like 3 or 4am, back on road for 7, make it to Omaha early afternoon in time to check in at hotel and head to ballpark. Went knowing we would only be able to stay for the Sat/Sunday games. Left on Sunday after grabbing some championship t shirts…pulled into my driveway at 11am Monday morning. Helluva trip and great memories but next time we will plan better!

I don’t see him leaving LSU. Will his role change? Possibly. I do know he is not tied to the football program or coach.

Birthday is Jan 2. Went to the 2002 Sugar Bowl against Illinois. By time game was over and walked to the nearest bar at midnight I turned 21. Was able to legally enjoy the LSU win!
