re: Tint questions. 5%, 15%

I have 5% on my car and it’s perfect. Sometimes I crack the window at night to help when I’m pulling out the driveway, but that’s abt it.
My husband has 15 on his truck and wishes he had gotten 5.

This happened to us a couple weeks ago and here’s what worked.
Turn the AC to off at the thermostat.
Turn breaker for AC off.
Wait a few seconds then Turn breaker only back on.
WAIT 30 MINUTES then turn AC thermostat to cool.
This worked for us. Good luck.

After hearing about Pride for months, it was nice to finally have a bottle. It lived up to the hype.

Had this recently and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's a Merlot but drank like a Cab.

Great thread! Always looking for new wines to try.

I play for the championship this coming weekend.
Megatron has been big for me and he's done, I think.
Worried about Eddie Lacy.
This could be bad! :banghead:

Down by 20 with Seattle defense and kicker to go. Guy I'm playing is done.
:banghead: :banghead: at Decker and L. Bell on my bench. I've been first place all season and this is gonna screw me outta that bye going into playoffs.
Here's to lotsa Brees interceptions, sacks, and anything else to get me my points!

re: Non "crap" meals for the kids. What are your go to's on a busy weekday?
Posted by LSUtgrgrl on 8/23/13 at 10:14 pm
I haven't read through all 4 pages, so some of this may be a repeat. I have a 6 year old and with work and school, it's definitely hard to have a good meal on the table.
I try to cook something substantial on Sunday afternoons like chicken stew, roast and gravy, spaghetti and meatballs, just something that we can eat on for a few days. Then on each weekday I'll make corn, broccoli, green beans, some veggie that I know she'll eat, to go with it.
Other things that I cook that she eats good and easy are red beans and rice, jambalaya, taco casserole, hotdogs and chili, hamburger steaks and gravy with rice, homemade pizza. Sometimes we do breakfast for dinner and I'll made eggs and bacon with french toast.
It's definitely a struggle, I know!!

I grabbed Andre Brown last week and he got me a crapload of points. But, now that Bradshaw is back I think he may be done....
I'm thinking I drop him for Leshoure. Sound right?

I was ok without power because we have a generator but Cox cable just went out. Now this is starting to suck! Hope it comes back up soon.
re: Cox Cable is down! Is anyone else experiencing this?

I had forgotten about that buffalo chicken dip... I've never had it but heard it was good.
My nephew asked if I was serving some sort of elephant since I usually try to base my menu on who we're playing. :yack:
My future son-in-law called today. He went hunting and has me 10 ducks, so I think in addition to some appetizers I'm going to attempt a duck and andouille gumbo. I usually make a great gumbo but have never cooked duck. I found a recipe in the TD recipe book so gonna go with that one.
And to those who will be there, I am JEALOUS!! :doublebird: My hubby doesn't wanna pay $3-4k to bring me!!
Thanks for the suggestions!! It's getting close! I'm so excited!!!! :geauxtigers:

Good idea on the chips.
I'm also trying to come up with some sort of purple drink or purple shot, just to be festive, in case anyone out there has any ideas.

Have y'all started thinking about what to cook for the Big Game? I'm thinking lots of appetizers, maybe some sandwiches and plenty of beverages ... stuff that's easy to eat while watching the game. But I don't have a definite menu.
What do y'all have? Gimme some inspiration!!!
