We stayed in Budapest so I dont have an opinion about other areas. However, if you are splitting time between Vienna and Budapest I think its gotta just be the city.

With 4.5 days, I would recommend splitting, with 2.5 days for Vienna with a day trip/half day to Salzburg. I wouldn't do the car service for a detour and just take the train to Vienna to save time.

Just a suggestion

The whole trip is 3 days? Its hard to hit Budapest and Vienna within that window and not feel completely rushed.

In Budapest, the thermal bath is awesome. It was below freezing and we were in this gigantic thermal pool. Its a full spa too. It was a bit crowded but a truly unique experience.

We also went to the ruins area to party where these bars are set up
in old post-Soviet buildings. Hung out with people from all around the world.

A ride on the Danube is recommended.

Vienna-there is no way to see in a day. The museums and castles make it a multi day experience. Also when in Vienna a train ride and day in Salzburg is a must. Its an amazing city and the Salzburg castle view is the best I have ever seen.

We did a Budapest, Vienna, Prague trip for 2 weeks. Took a car service from one city to another where you can pay for detours. Budapest to Vienna the driver took us to Bratislava for a 3 hour quick tour. Awesome city.

Generally, going around Christmas is awesome to any of these cities. They go all in with the pageantry and spirit of the holidays.

Have fun

He is so pliable and athletic for how big a monster he is. Helps him catch passes low, inside, and outside that you wouldn't expect a guy like that to make.

I think he is a pro-day guy who will test off the charts and go higher than anticipated. His game is awesome.

re: Is Kelly really that bad?

Will he win a national championship here? Who knows. Am I content with how this season played out? Not at all but it was clear this team lacks our typical depth and talent which was depleted over the years. Its up to him to do get that right.

But to act like Brian Kelly was a shitty coach before he came here is beyond stupid. He had ND in the playoffs twice and undefeated in the BCNCG during his stint there. That program was fricking arse for 20 years before he showed up.

Before that he took Cincy from a shitty also ran to playing in the Orange Bowl then the Sugar bowl his last 2 years. He was undefeated during his last year there.

To call him a bad coach is beyond stupid. Hes turned around every program hes ever been at. That cannot be disputed.

I thought he separated his shoulder with how it played out. Then when he hobbled off I knew he was fricked.

One of those seasons. Emory, Guillory and Perk.
The new NCAA president said he was in favor of a payment structure to student athletes.

Of course it can be successfully argued these SAs can be considered employees. They provide services in exchange for compensation(whatever that may be). They are directed when and where to go by the university. The services rendered are
almost completely facilitated by university’s resources and its direction to accomplish the service. Failure to comply with school policies can result in rescission of the scholarship and/or expulsion of the student athlete.

Nonetheless, I think this is all meant to sever all the non-p5 schools with a new entity as an exclusive league with a 12 team playoff. I believe the B10 pres said a few months back this is moving towards an “AFC-NFC structure” or something to that effect. I can see the “conference” as they are now carved up to make more geographical sense if this is the end game.

Speaking as an advocate, that would be sick. No more Ball St, Grambling non-conference games. You play Oregon in Autzen or Penn State comes to Tiger Stadium as a non-conference matchup. That would be a beautiful thing.

A major issue is that mid majors like UL need their own league so they could compete for a national championships like McNeese can. Whether they will have the resources to pull that off WTF knows.

2 in Venice 2 in Florence 4 in rome

I would recommend this. Besides the vendors up in your shite, Rome one of my favorite cities I have ever been to. Venice can be seen in 2 days, but is a must to see. My travel goal is now to take a ferry from Venice to Dubrovnik.
Wife and I went in the winter for two weeks in 2019 right before COVID. We flew into Rome and went to Florence for 3 days with one night into Venice(water was so high). Went into Tuscany to a winery and had one of the best meals of our life.

Did Christmas in Rome and it was magnificent. Weather was awesome. Then took a train down to Pompeii then a van to Amalfi. We decided to stay in Praiano .

If there was anything we would do again it would probably not do Amalfi in the winter. It was the offseason and everything was shut down. We'd have to hike every day to find something open. However, we were so tired ripping and running through Italy it was a nice change of pace. The other sites because they were all still very crowded AF for that time of the year.
Shoulda run on 4th down. Also had a shite spot on 3rd down.
Bills should have dropped 11 on the first play
They were in Tuscany and drove to Lake Maggiore, which is on the border of Italy/ Switzerland. Got to be a few hours.
He has never not won a Big 12 title since hes been head coach and has 2 Heisman winners.

Take a lap

Cheadle is FBI in the movie IIRC

Fantastic film that I watch once a year. Gleason is so good in it.
That was probably Freeman’s hope...that they would put up their best number that would result in him saying yes.

I dont feel like he used us. I bet it was a tough decision. They probably digested it all and were reticent to make a big geographic move.

Anyone who pearl clutches about this is a pussy.
