re: Forget EV's - Toyota invests over $900m to boost hybrid production in the US

My wife and I both drive Toyota hybrids. I told her a few years ago before we bought our cars that hybrids were the wave of the future.

Yes. Where are you thinking of living? Outside of Anchorage and Fairbanks, it’s very rural.
re: Outside of offensive line, what position group is your biggest concern vs Clemson week 1

Overall gel of the defense. There’s a lot of new pieces and coverages/assignments can easily get blown against an experienced offense like Clemson’s.
re: Enclomephine. Thoughts? (Update page 2)

I’m mid-thirties and had a similar situation with fertility stuff. T numbers were 200 before, and with enclodomine and 6 mg of boron was up to 550. My doctor said that I can’t take it long term though; so TRT is the plan after 6 months. Did anyone else hear the same from their doctor? I thought it was kinda weird being advertised if it’s a short term solution
Gun Cabinet Recommendations
Posted by AlaskanLSUfan on 2/2/25 at 9:27 pm
I’m inheriting around 6-8 rifles from a grandpa, and have a 12 gauge and AR-15. Do y’all have any gun cabinet recommendations? I’d like something that’s kid/theft safe.

I bought a 2024 Tundra on Labor Day weekend with $10k off. Might be an end of the month thing
re: Mold in A/C Registars
Posted by AlaskanLSUfan on 10/7/24 at 8:59 am to CrawDude
Thanks, and we saw some surface mold on the popcorn ceiling there but there appears to be mold inside some of the other registers.
Some background story is we replaced the very old AC and ductwork 3 years ago but I don’t recall the boots or registers being replaced so it’s been recommended that we replace and insulate the boots since the original aren’t insulated. That makes sense to me. What I have left to figure out is twofold:
1. Do I get the whole AC system cleaned? The mold may just be in the boots since it’s a relatively new system.
2. Should I look at replacing the sheetrock around the register in the master bedroom? I cleaned it a couple weeks ago and the mold hasn’t come back.

Mold in A/C Registars
Posted by AlaskanLSUfan on 10/6/24 at 10:37 pm
Has anyone had to deal with mold growth in or around your A/C registrars? I saw some around the one in my master bedroom and cleaned it. I got in touch with a few different contractors with wildly different quotes and proposed solutions. At this point I’m not sure if I should replace the registers, clean them/the whole AC system, or both.

I grew up in Fairbanks. It’s pretty late in the salmon run season. Maybe Birch Lake will work for stocked fish. What are you looking for?
Places to watch USCe game in Chicago

I’ll be in Chicago this weekend. Are there any LSU bars/local hangout spots for the USCe game?

Which is why you live in Metairie, St Charles, St Tammany, etc and be close enough to enjoy these things without putting up with the issues.
Yard Maintenance NOLA Area

Does anyone use a yard maintenance crew in the Nola area? I’m looking for someone to pull weeds and trim a few trees.

I was in school for the final years of Mike in his cage. It also was before we were piping music in. A lot of traditions like those made the LSU for me. Now we feel like a NFL game and have lost our uniqueness
re: How bad was State Farm the last few years

If the cost to bundle is a wash, best to go with State Farm. Worst thing would be for disaster to strike and the insurance company you originally had going under or impossible to get your claim processed and you’d have to go the legal route. Doesn’t mean that couldn’t happen with State Farm, but a larger firm is less likely to happen. Just my two cents
re: 13th Anniversary of when T-Bob won the game for LSU - 2010 LSU vs Tenn
Posted by AlaskanLSUfan on 9/18/23 at 9:02 am to theantiquetiger
Everybody seems to forget the 4th down conversion at midfield earlier in that last drive. We had a 4th and 9 with Jarrett Lee at QB. We get a delay of game penalty because we’re out of timeouts (of course) and it becomes 4th and 14. Jarrett somehow finds Terrance Toliver in triple coverage for a 20-yard gain. I’d argue that 4th down conversion was just as valuable as T-Bob’s snap

I bet this was the receivers talking because they were dunking on our DB’s in practice. It gave everyone a sense of false confidence, but in reality it’s because our corners are that bad
re: BR paper “DB’s won the day” what does that suggest?

I love fall, but spring has always felt perfect to me in South La. The weather is perfect until late April/early May, the days get longer, and it just feels better overall. Maybe also because I’m not allergic to anything that blooms haha
