Did you really think things were going to change in a week’s time with the same coaching staff (sans Sloan and Kelly), playbook, etc.?

There’s about zero chance we beat Alabama and aTm. I would put Arkansas as a toss up.
We’re stuck with Kelly until at least the end of the season next year.
Coach O’s problem was trim, which negativity impacted his focus. NIL wouldn’t have changed that.

Each year there’s 2-4 teams capable of winning a natty. We’ll never have a situation where 12 teams are competitive. Even with 8 teams, that’s too many, but would work better than 12. Going to 16 would be even worse for blowout scores. However, too much money is being made with having 12 teams, so I don’t see that number getting smaller.

It’s very nauseating and seems to be worse the week after a win.
Another year with an opening game loss.
Should have not lost to A&M and Florida.
Way too much talent to be a 4 loss team.
We should have lost to SoCar and Ole Miss…lucky we’re not a 6 loss team.

Really? Louisiana has poor infrastructure, bad schools, etc., but you wan taxpayers to be accessed a tax to pay football players. As a taxpayer I don’t want to pay for someone else’s student loan, much less pay LSU players.
You mean Underwood was disingenuous when he said LSU was his school, until it wasn’t? No different than coaches who pledge their commitment to a school, then depart weeks later for more $$$.

Saban isn’t coaching again, I wish people would quit dreaming. Nick is 73 and cited several reasons why he retired (age, stamina, & NIL). If he wanted to continue coaching, he would have stayed at Alabama.
