I am afraid to say that the Catholic Church is fighting its own Deep State as well. This priest is unfortunately corrupting the Churches real Social Justice doctrines to push his own ideologies. It in no way reflects real church teachings. Pray for the Church. Pray for the United States. The battle fronts are not that different.

Since I don't know you, I can just speak in general terms. Ocala is not bad, but no good beaches close by. Plenty of good freshwater fishing nearby if that's what you are looking for. Lake Harris by Mt Dora and Leesburg is great bass fishing lake. As someone said, Winter Haven is close to Disney and also only about a 45 minute drive to Sebring, which has a car race track. Formula one style and road races, but pretty popular. I don't recommend Springhill. Lots of retired people near the coast. A better area close to Springhill is Odessa, but they are proud of their homes. Kinda pricey there.

I know it's been said over and over, but Florida should forfeit the game. I didn't really pay attention when all the details were going on Thursday through Saturday. We were preparing for the worst. But by all reports, the bad weather would be out by Saturday at the latest. The game should have been played Sunday or today. Hell if the storm did loop back, then cancel it outright.

An entitlement mentality (not just from government either, but the " I deserve a trophy because I showed up "mentality) coupled with a lack of a moral compass (I didn't do anything wrong) is going to hurt our country in the long run.

Exactly what I have been going through! My in-laws give me crap all the time about that game. (They are from Iowa City and worked for the University before retiring). My consolation for this game are that my kids will be pulling for LSU!!

We will be sitting in the Hawkeye section however. Should be a good game. Looking to quiet some folks down!!
