I stopped supporting DU about 10 years ago for this exact reason...tired of seeing the slaughter of mallards in AR/KS/MO while I'm fighting for my life for 3 dos gris.

Can't wait to see how Geautreaux manages to screw this game up and make it about him.
The opener against Clemson this passed year was trash. See if he reverses any touchdowns....lil brother syndrome punk.

Love mine...big thing is if you can't find what you need...damn near everyone in the store knows where it is.
All the employees actually look happy too, which makes things better too.
Doesn't hurt that mine has a popcorn machine with pretty fresh bags of popcorn at the front door and the ability to fill propane tanks...can fill a propane tank higher than what you get at Blue Rhino cages for more than half the price.

Yes but Lane just recruited a d2 QB that got his team to the semis...so far.
I'm not worried. I know next year realistically at this point is a sizable rebuild with all the transfers.

Probably go with Big Whit. Great overall person, Christian, large human being. Earned a lot of money in the league over his tenure. Played a long time. Oldest guy to win a Super Bowl. Dude is just a stand up person but also got to play relatively injury free in the league for a long time. Now works for Amazon Thursday night. football..so you have your weekends off. Married Ms Louisiana 2003.

My office is right off 249 and Chasewood...it came right over the top of us. Picked up a bunch of debris but nothing major.

Wesley is our rep up here in Tomball and I've seen him in person multiple time and I would not consider him a Crenshaw/Mills type

Winter blend gasoline is cheaper than summer blend gasoline.
That's all. Price of oil has lost 3 dollars on average the last 3 months. Yet prices of gasoline is down 20c/gal on average.

re: Texas Public Education Issue
Posted by MadtownTiger on 11/13/25 at 10:15 am to AGGIES
The product in Texas public education is trash and my wife's a teacher in a local ISD. She says it is as well...not just me trashing her and her profession, she loves/loved what she does.
Teachers are quitting in droves because parents and admin do not provide any backbone for unruly kids with no parenting out of school. They are getting paid better these days but its still not worth the risks. Her current principal was never a teacher at any point in her career if that spells it out for you, no experience in what she does to her teachers with her lack of planning and backbone against parents to protect her teachers in anyway. She was IMO a DEI hire and has been across the multiple schools she was an admin in AP or Principal.
This is just her school right now but the others my wife has taught at were very similar. The out of control ISD taxes provide nothing of worth...they provide a new 48M football stadium and bloated admin departments and nothing else. F*** em. Let them start to realize where the cuts need to cut from and they should already know its not teacher salaries. Its admin and ridiculous bonds for irrelevant education enhancements.

I don't have a problem with anyone left but Davis. Sloan's playcalling and design did him no favors but the OL can't handle the basics when the basics are called.
WE NEED MAWAE...we need some nasty MF'ers on the line.
Mawae actually fits the "Loves LSU" mantra

Brad gets the last 4 games to show his line isn't garbage...

Hopefully Atkins can put the Oline in better position to succeed and maybe give MVB the rock to take over. This line can't pass block for shite...but maybe letting them pin their ears back and run defenders down the field in sound run blocking schemes will let them shine some more.
Woodward has had good hires...but he cannot solely be responsible for the next.
Posted by MadtownTiger on 10/26/25 at 8:03 pm
Woodward hired Sarkisian at Washington and then Chris Peterson from Boise. Sark obviously went back to USC and got drunk soon after. Chris took Washington to the Playoff in year 3-4 where he lost to Saban in the Peach bowl.
He did hire Jimbo Fisher who was just off a National Title. However, what some to fail to realize was the Texas A&M Board of Regents were the ones who approved the 10 year 100M contract. He then hired Buzz Williams as the Mens BBall Coach...who was SEC Coach of the year last year.
Since he's been at LSU, he's hired Jay and Kim. Big Wins.
BK dumpster fire.
He can make pretty good hires...more often than not. But he tends to miss young talent and sometimes in football that is needed. I don't think he can be allowed to solo this next hiring process after this epic failure.
But he is by no means a bad "hiring" AD IMO

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly but Sloan
Posted by MadtownTiger on 10/26/25 at 7:53 pm
Is Frank or Scott or whoever gonna take care of this?
I mean BK was trash but he didn't call the offense. Sloan cannot stay in his current role.

I can't imagine the pandemonium if Saban were announced. I wanna believe but he's done...I think he just hates NIL and the personalities of these kids these days that are just in it for the money and nothing else.

ESPN is owned by Disney...if they aren't race-baiting or grooming they aren't doing their job.
re: WHEN Kelly cleans Offensive staff after bowl game, who would you like to see as new OC?
Posted by MadtownTiger on 10/1/25 at 8:34 am to FlowMaster
If he cleans the offensive staff as a whole we are screwed.
Sloan and Davis need to be gone...that's all that's really holding this team back. But the problem...is two of the more important staffing positions.

Like others...Brad Davis can kick rocks. He can't develop anyone with marginal talent. His blocking schemes and the OL talent pool don't mix. No one has really developed much past their floor IMO.
I have no problem with Cortez and Wilson. Cortez has a mediocre group outside of Barion and Aaron...and with Aaron's brick hands...he may be falling into that group.
Wilson has brought in stud after stud...regardless the talent is there. Provide the OL and these guys will thrive.

3/5 of starting linemen from day 1 are out and they are running it down FSU's throat.
