Texas A&M fans were nothing but hospitable and extremely nice...didn’t run into any resemblance of a problem.

It’s not so much the money as the menu’s..looked like a bunch of stuff I don’t eat. I have never minded paying for a great meal though

I’m gonna be here for a few days in December and wanted a few recommendations on food. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind a high end meal but everything I’m seeing is high high end and I’m just looking for good food..not cheap food don’t get me wrong. Any recommendations would be appreciated.(Don’t care about craft beer)
Pig-N-Pint is good bbq..and Saltine is very good

Ok my wife has never cared to learn or have interest in football(the game I love so much). Here lately we are connecting in a lot of new ways and she has shown an interest in learning the game. I can tell her what I know but I thought it would be cool to buy her some kind of book on basics of football for women etc....just thought maybe you guys could throw me some advice..Thanks

Straight Talk

Posted by LSU_Holla on 10/8/18 at 11:04 pm
Ok I never thought I’d be considering straight talk but the wife and I are in the process of getting “debt free” and our cell phone bill is horrendous. Does anyone have any dealings with them? I can bring my phone over and it’s like 60 bucks a month. Thanks in advance

All of the above..got used to a certain lifestyle and then my job pay took a huge hit and I continued living the same way except with lots of CC debt.

The wife works seven hundred miles away and since I’m the one with the spending problem I told her to put me on a budget weekly and just load a prepaid visa or something to limit any overages. My question is this..is there a prepaid type card that is reloadable without tons of fees? I’m closing my acess to any funds and giving her full reins of the finances since I obviously suck at it..thanks

First time using jar roux

Posted by LSU_Holla on 10/5/18 at 12:16 pm
We normally make our own roux and we use one cup of flour and one cup of oil for one pot..tomorrow we are doubling the recipe and cooking it outside so we figured it would be easier using the jar stuff. My question is how much of the jar roux do I use to equal what I normally would do...or in this case double the amount. Thanks
