Remember the sign: "Jerry's kids haven't won since Labor Day" :wah:

The coldest for me personally was the Utah game, November 30, 1974. The temperature at game time was 38 degrees, with a brisk north wind around 25 mph. I was in the Tiger Band back then, and marching at halftime was painfully cold. Those old wool coats that were so hot in September provided no real warmth in November!

Agree. People were building fires out of whatever they could find

Hopefully a different brand than Landry's
Overall I agree with you, but...

Or when they played Ole Miss

I seem to remember that Ole Miss had to overcome a horrendous call that gifted BAMA a touchdown right before halftime.

Nah, you could see it coming from the previous two games (Ark and GA). The offense had lost all momentum, due to personnel changes. I was pretty certain we had no chance. Most of my angst for that game centered on the coaches giving up.

Is this an argument in support of his opinion or not. I'm all for less baseball personally.

All this shite got me believing he had something to do with his gf's killing. Why would an innocent man pass up millions and leave the draft? This shite is getting real. Hate it for him

Because he would rather get cleared and have a chance at getting something close to his actual value, rather than have some team OWN him for sixth or seventh round money.
Since 1/9 fell in 2012, I will have to go with 2012 as well

Yes I was there. I was a student at LSU at the time. The next week we went to Philly to watch the Final Four. I am still convinced we would have won the National Championship had Rudy Macklin not injured his finger. As Jim Mora used to say, woulda, coulda shoulda.

We would have beaten Indiana and made the final game had Dale not gone into 4 corners AFTER Isaiah Thomas picked up his 3rd foul in the first half.
We were waiting to buy sideline seats from the losers of the first game. And picking up discarded ticket stubs.

I remember being at the game at the end of the season (1980, I believe) and I believe the winner was going to win the SEC regular season championship. He hit a last second jumper from the top of the key to beat us.

That was actually the final game of the '81 regular season and cost LSU the honor of being the first to sweep the 18 game schedule. The Tigers were still easily the SEC champs, albeit 17-1 instead of 18-0. Went on to the final 4 from there.

Virtually the only shot he made all game. It was like their super bowl to keep us from going undefeated.

Saban's success is predicated on amazing recruiting. Level playing fields are not kind to him.

Third row, corner
NIT

Half of SEC games are on road (as always). Team is good, but not good enough to overcome the SEC refs love of the home team (e.g. Shaq - @ ARK). And with Kentucky we have at least one guaranteed home loss because they are more than good enough.
