No I came here to find intelligent conversations about how the first BCS rankings are going to shape up. Instead I got a bunch of old goobs pouting about the student section. Your epic post count either makes you either a nerd or a failed attempt at a back alley abortion. Pick one.

No this is Tigerdroppings. Where nerds come to be superstars.

ooooeeeeoooo you suck was also banned which blows as well. We naturally add a little flavor to our band it has been around forever if we all of a sudden stopped it then it would not be the same maybe we should ask Scott Van Pelt what he thinks about that? Maybe the band should get a little more creative and bust out some tastier tunes to keep us off balance? Something other than asking the other team to blow us would come from it I am sure.
One thing we cannot argue about is that you bring a student from any school in the nation to ANY LSU game they will walk away very impressed no matter what goes on in there. So lets all sit back and enjoy another gem of a season and appreciate the mystique we have in Tiger Stadium while trying not to s on to many Tiger D's

The beach balls are terrible I personally popped one because lets face it this is not a dam Phish show. I feel the same way about the wave. I love how unique we are in Tiger Stadium. I would love for 2013 to be 1988 or 2003 but it just isn't and will never be that way again.
I can tell you from experience that our student body is less and less Louisiana based and drawing more and more out of state kids. Most of my friends are from Texas, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Alabama, Mississippi, etc. Therefore you have a very large amount of students who may love to cheer for LSU football but just do not understand all of our history. Because of this the results are a less prideful student body. It is just simple demographics. I do agree with you that crowd noise is very important and the team does need us to be as loud as we can but you have to be a realist when it comes to understanding the current student body at LSU.

No more like stupid enough to come ruffle your internet panties here on TD.
To my Toronto friend:
We don't really care what you guys think of our Academic institutions up there in America's hat. If I wanted to go to a school that I could brag about being a classy academic institution I would have done just that right after I took the stick out of my arse. I rather spend my college years the right way, down south in Baton Rouge with the hottest babes and the coldest brews. I appreciate you tuning in to watch the Tigers. I bet we sound real good on TV.

Look fellas things come and go around LSU. The school is pushing more and more to be respectable academically. Therefore you get a less aggressive student body from recruitment. The frats are way tamer these days.
Look on the student exchange Facebook page the week of the game and watch all of the foreigners practically give away tickets. Our student body is bigger than it has ever been and our football team is better than it has ever been (in recent years). In a perfect world that combination would equal the most rowdiest rambunctious wacko student section that some of you geezers dream of but it is just not the case in 2013. Teens these days are way softer than the teens of back when. Blame the media, blame all the mistakes generations beforehand have made, I really do not know why Americas is getting so soft. I am all for the old school and will get rowdy with any LSU alum/ student any day but comparing a student section of the past to one of the present is ridiculous. You have to be an imbecilic to expect the same experience from your Archer, Curley, Dinardo, Saban days. Its Miles time now and I bet if you ask him what he thought about this he would probably tell you to go suck his TIGER D.
Yeah the chant itself may be old and middle school but how about the sucks to be a Florida Gator or the ooo ee oo you suck? How about hot boudin or ree ree ree? There are many other solutions than some of the gayness I have heard in this thread. You cant graduate from LSU after having the "best student section ever during your time" then wine about students being weird in the student section. Your elders thought you were weird too.
Anyone bringing class into this conversation needs to take that elsewhere. It takes all kinds to make a southern state school and I can promise you it is not all made up of class. I have met some amazing people all throughout the SEC just as I have met some disgusting people.
If yall are unhappy with what goes on in Baton Rouge on game day I heard Best buy is having a sale on flat screens, you should go buy one. Maybe you can plug your laptop into it and jerk off on Tigerdroppings while you watch the game. Ill be popin beam bags and yelling my lungs out to help motivate our Tigers to victory.

We would all like for you to get over your issues with how we handle ourselves on game day. The passion we have for our football team out trumps any attempt at being politically correct on Saturdays in Death Valley.
Yeah students are very confident in our team and exit for the nearest bar stool a little early here and there but I promise you that valley shakes when there is a battle going on. I saw a lot more of those expensive lower bowl seats looking empty many times during the game while the Student section was rocking from the get go.
A bunch of sauced up LSU students will get rowdy any day of the week but especially when someone as awful as Florida rolls into town. Big time SEC rivalries bring out high emotion in people and if STTDB is what sparks the crowd it is what it is. I would never go far enough to call the cheer a tradition by any means but to come on here an wine about it is about as lame as socks and sandals.
If you dont want your kid to hear it throw them some earmuffs or man up and explain to him that one day he himself will have some SEC coeds S'ing some Tiga D.
If you want to say how terrible it sounds on TV why dont you take those CBS microphones they put in the student section and throw them in the Mississippi. Maybe they can cage us in or some shite.
I dont think our administrators really understand these issues because the majority were not raised on the culture and tradition that a large majority of Tiger fans were. Look around at how corporate game day is these days. I read a wonderful post on here earlier that hit that on the head.
It irks me to hear anyone put down the game day atmosphere we have at LSU. We dont hold our balls and yell or dance, we dont shake pom poms at each other, we dont sing rocky top every five seconds. We get into the minds, hearts, and souls of our opponents and drop the hammer on their puny nail asses.
Call it classless if you want but hey baby this is SEC football not the Academy Awards.
All in all we should all be on our high horses to finish this season strong. I dont rabble rabble on TD often but I will leave my final prediction of the season with you all to suck on:
Tigers take down the Seminoles 31 to 28 in Pasadena. Snoop Lion, Willie Robertson, and Les Miles all smoke grass. J Hill knocks up one of the Kardashian girls.
I appreciate you all taking time away from your FAP sessions to read my rabble.
-Godspeed and GEAUX TIGERS :drunkards:  :usa: :geauxtigers: :dude: :pimp: :spank:  :doublebird:
