man,
I don't want to call you obtuse, but your entire argument on this is very naive.
Let schools compete, let the kids go where ever they want.
And anyone who complains is a commie.
the reality is that decisions at this scale can't just be about the 3% of kids your are talking about.
The vast, vast, vast majority of kids playing High school sports aren't on the level of kids you are talking about. But those 97% of the kids are the foundation of high school sports. For every one Treydez Green at Zachary there are 25,000 other kids in all sports that create the very ability to even have high school sports. And they deserve every right to have a competitive playing field when they step out on the the competition field or court. no one wants 20 super schools dominating every sport.
Most kids aren't desirable enough to have the "elite" schools you are talking about start looking into them. Or accept them. And even if they did, those schools only have so many places available. So what do you do?
There is nothing stopping a group of private and charter schools, maybe even some large public schools along with parents and lawyers, from pulling out of the LHSAA and creating their own super league of schools where the LHSAA has no say and those "jackass principals" that vote for these rules won't have a say.
Do you know why they don't do it? Because those very people, the moment their Super league was announced, would implement the very same rules that the LHSAA has to keep the playing field level.
Because keeping the playing field level in some way, even if only perceived, is necessary. Or the whole thing falls apart.
You can't just put the needs of the 3% above everyone elses.

Looking at the "bench", are we really calling Fulwiley a bench player? That seems insane. I can't imagine she doesn't start at some point. She sure made the case over Jada last night.
The top 8 are obviously
Mikayla
Flaujae
Fulwiley
Zakiyah (she already looks like an Aneesah clone with better hops, but without the polished offensive game)
Koval (already the best center we have had under Kim)
Jada
Joyner
Gilbert
Then
Bella
Knox
Bourrage
are next up, you essentially don't really seem to miss a beat when these three come in. You just don't have any knowledge of how they will react to a visitors crowd in a big SEC game. I don't think its a stretch to say all are already better than what you got with Poa, Sheppard or Day-Wilson last year. They all shoot well, play good defense and are very active/aggressive. Bella seems like a kid who could come in and have a 5-6 threepointer game off the bench kinda like Carson but with a more rounded game and much better Defense.
With
Yarnevich looking like the only one slightly out of her league as a freshman. But she has size and plays under control. She is already better than Del Rosario. But you don't need her to be amazing. just be physical, block out on defense and if you get open under the goal with a feed from a guard, just make a layup (all the things ADR seemed to struggle with), which she seems able to all already do in abundance.
Our ball handling is significantly improved. (thank jesus I don't have to watch poa or SDW try to bring the ball up against pressure anymore)
Our three point shooting is signficantly improved.
our perimeter defense is vastly better than last year.
We seem about the same when it comes to rebounding.
I think we legit go 11 deep without missing practically anything. Hell last night the starters where kind of struggling and the second string is the group that sparked the blowout. We are already more active overall from a pacing standpoint as well.
This team is legit fun to watch.

bruh, I loved Sa'myah. But Amiya Joyner and ZaKiyah Johnson are both better than her.
ZaKiyah is like a freshman Aneesah with better jumping ability and without the polish of the outside game. She's all over the place and very physical.
Sa'myah made have made a very smart decision.
re: Can we start calling a technical foul for throwing your head back while dribbling the ball
Posted by extremetigerfanatic on 11/12/25 at 4:27 pm to Black n Gold
Just go back to calling the game they way they did in 1995. You can hand check, being bumped in the lane isn't a foul, and all that bullshite "gather" walking starts being a walk again. They also need to either move the 3 point line back 5 feet or get rid of it completely.
But alas, they are going the other way with this high five rule.
bball is getting close to being unwatchable for just being boring.

I made this point with my friend group on Sunday.
The entire discussion is wrapped around who the next coach is.
Hire a homerun, everything said is completely moot.
Hire another failure, everything said is now prophetic.

you gotta love the guys on the end shooting machine guns back across an already dead man at each other. How did one of those shooters not get hit with a rebound bullet. Dude on the right just raises his hands and moves line like he's hailing traffic.

I mean....
There is a reason that no one on this entire offensive staff will be back next season. And I would wager that every single one will have a hard time finding a top 30 gig.

This isn't even in the same ballpark of what people where saying about Jordan Jefferson the night of 1/9/12.
I would wager that at least 250 people were banned for awhile (including me) after that fiasco.
for a guy whose made about $4 million the last 18 months, this is kid gloves bro

GDP.
Now do our debt.
This growth you trumpet is a revolving door that helps no one and is a trainwreck that ends with the dollar losing it spot as the world currency.
You are disingenuous at best.
The government decided covid was the perfect oppotunity to kick borrowing money and printing money into high gear.
And trump was part of that problem at the beginning. he still doesn't want to do anything resembling an austere measure. But you take what you can get.

Nuss is what he always has been… a dude who makes questionable decisions but has a fricking cannon for an arm.
Give him a decent oline and NFL wideouts? 4000 yds.
But he still made bad decisions. Even in the games where he threw for 400 yds and 4 TDS he’d have an INT where you be like WTF was that?
This year with subpar oline? All his flaws were magnified.
I appreciate his commitment to the program. Good luck to him in the pros. They are gonna chew him up and spit him out. Glad he got his NIL.

Yeah why scrub kick that?
Then take the to now when u could have spiked it?

That’s one criteria. The tour also requires you to score enough points to keep your card.
Which is why most players play 20-25 tournaments at least.
But no one thinks guys went to LIV for time off. We know why they went $$$$$$$$$$

Yeah there were stories going round there was the weekend Knox Hines and Johnson were here together that they essentially told Kim we don’t want to play with Chavez. So if you take her we are all going somewhere else. And we quickly stopped recruiting her and then those three committed soon after.
I think some people told it that they hated her or something. But I think it was just they didn’t want to play with her cuz of her style. She is a ball hog.

28-3 is better because it was for all the marbles. The Bills game ultimately didn't even matter.
And the best come from behind soccer match is Liverpool-AC Milan in the CL final in Istanbul in 2005.

To be fair this SLU team is a stark drop off from the last few years.
We only beat them by like 10 two years ago. And they had a guard from Denham that scored 28 that game. This SLU is not good at all.
