Ex-athlete married to a white woman. Sounds pretty black to me!
“Who He Play For??”

You think Big Papi knows the 4th outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates? Outside of the big names, regardless of the sport, the majority of the ex-players on TV do not keep up with player movement. At least they don’t pretend like they do.
You shouldn’t be, just slit your wrist now so there’s one less negative Pels fan.

I'm ready to hurt again!!!
And Chris Paul started every game he played in until he didn’t.

Russell Westbrook moved to the bench on his last two teams.

Things change. I’m not saying it needs to happen but don’t say it can’t just because we’ve never seen it.

Each have had catch a shoot opportunities. And CJ has taken three horrible pull up threes. One was right after a Zion screen where they got Reaves switched onto Zion. For a veteran, who some consider cerebral, you would think he'd know to take advantage of such a favorable matchup instead of shooting a step back three over Lebron.

No easy baskets for us. Low IQ team.

re: Kyren Lacy Statistics

You’re combining his stats from UL. But, if he does become the all time leader in all three stats next year, he’ll have the best receiving year ever. So, let’s hope it happens.

At the end of the day wins and losses are all that matters

But he just completed 2 consecutive winning seasons for the first time since 2003. So clearly, that’s not all that matters.

we have to pay Lonzo ridiculous money

Oh we do? Who’s giving Lonzo that much money? And if some team does...bye bye. Do not repeat the Eric Gordon mistake.

Which is impressive when you take into account the enormous drop off in defensive talent that occurs when Hayes or Melli have been on the floor and Adams off.

Exactly, I was surprised when I looked it up.

Josh is playing like a top flight glue guy right now. Hope he keeps it up for the rest of the year/we can somehow hold on to him for the future.

we've still allowed a bit more points in the paint than I'd like to see

We’re at 41.3 ppg allowed in the paint. Good for second in the league. If we kept that up for a whole season, it would rank as a top five unit, 4 of the last 5 years.
Just guessing that it's SVG trying to learn his guys. I would say you need to feel comfortable with your team in order to "frick around". Of all the 9 new coaches, I'd say he may have the biggest question marks, besides Silas in Houston.

Everyone else either knows that they're dealing with a contender or playoff team(Lue, Nash, Rivers, Bjorkgren) or that there are no/low expectations(Thibodeau, Donovan, and Daigneault).

It may also be that he feels that he doesn't have time to experiment to start the season. I agree with your earlier statement, that if we're still in 8-9 man rotations 20-30 games in, it will make me question NAW and Kira.
4 for 11 and 3 FTAs(without Adams) vs 2 of 9 and 2 FTAs (with Adams) but okay.

The issue of the fourth quarter with him on the court or off the court was turnovers.
No I didn’t. Because they weren’t making shots before he went to the bench. They were 2 for 9 on their field goals before Adams sat down with 5:50 left in the fourth.

The NBA sent officials to take heights for every player(without shoes) last year so that they could end that foolishness. The only Pelican who changed was Zion from 6’7 to 6’6. And just judging off pics alone, I’d say it’s pretty easy to just say that the 6’7 for BI is probably accurate.

As far as your Dwight assessment, he was one of the players downgraded to 6’9 last year.

I can accept that criticism of the my argument. I should have simply said being drafted at 13 doesn’t guarantee him anything. Griff has stated multiple times the type of culture they’re trying to create. Getting playing time because of draft status isn’t a part of that and if NAW beats him out as the 4th guard, I don’t see the problem I’m getting him some run here and there(in a normal year).

This front office has been fairly transparent and I’ll take Langdon for his word that they would send him to the G league, if it it were easy. The news so far doesn’t paint a picture of that being the case. And perhaps, because of the uncertainty maybe you keep everybody you can on your bench just in case a rash of people get knocked out with COVID.
