That is why they sold high on Necas. Obviously, nobody knows how he will be going forward, but this season was an anomaly. So they tried to go big and took a chance they could convince Rantanen to sign long-term. When he was unwilling and clearly not the same player for Carolina as he was on the Avs, they made another move. Sometimes trades work, and sometimes they don't. But I am not upset they tried. I think what they got in return was a nice recovery.

Canes fan here - I'm cautiously optimistic right now. I miss Necas, but he is very streaky and will disappear for games on end. It was frustrating to watch. Rantanen was arse while here and apparently was open about not willing to sign long term. I have no problem moving him as opposed to getting nothing. Hall has been better than I expected and I like Stankoven. We shall see.

I am getting a complete new set of clubs in the next few months and need some options. I am about a 22 handicap. The available high handicap options are overwhelming and I’m trying to narrow things down some. Looking for any suggestions for irons and woods/driver.
