Perfect. Call Tyler Durden and let's make this happen.
Thanks for the olive branch NorthGwinnetTiger. I'm still up for meeting if you are. What's local for you and when?

Being a great SEC QB has as much to do with who's around you & their experience, who's coaching you & how long they've been coaching you, and most importantly the TIMING with which you earn the starting job. Having the skills and talent to play the position is really only about 50% of it. Just my 2 cents.
the worlds full of D'bags. And making a few posts has been entertaining. I'm happy to contribute where I can. If anything, I'm happy to offer my insight on a number of topics.
2001 was the only year that we played at UGA. 2000 & 2002 were at Auburn. We would bus all the way to Athens for the game. I believe we stayed in the same old run down hotel in LaGrange that we stay at for home games. Can't Remember the name of it, but it wasn't 4 star or anything. It was basically a motel right off the highway behind a gas & grocery.

Forgive me for not remembering the details. After all, I did get knocked out cold in the Ball State game in 2000 in my first Auburn appearance. Carted off the field after Danny Lindsey snapped the ball over my head in shotgun during mop up duty backing up Leard. I scooped it up, scrambled and on the way down to the turf, I caught a knee from the DB to the side of the head. It was ugly! Silas Daniels told me that next week, "DC, I ain't never seen no white boy snore with his eyes open"

Wow. Lot's of memories.
Good Points. Perhaps we'll run into eachother down at the Bucket Shop and have a cold one.

I could walk in and ask who wants to buy a former Auburn QB a beer! J/K. :rotflmao:

War Damn Eagle

I was forwarded the link to the posts from a family member.
I never said I was God's gift as a QB, but seriously, almost 10 years later and guys are still hung up on it all? It's shite like this that keeps me at home watching games and not going to them. I haven't been back to a game since 2003. I mean, I even had my car keyed after the Alabama game in 2001. I can only assume bay an angry Auburn fan.

I had some good games, had some bad games and a few in between. Yes, I was highly touted out of HS, and maybe a little over hyped, but how many guys actually live up to it? 10%?

Just my 2 cents.

No Fakes here guys. I'm happy to prove it however you wish. Hell, let's all meet if you're around atlanta!

Hey there NorthGwinnettTiger, Daniel Cobb here. Perhaps we can get together to discuss a few things. I've seen what you've posted in the last couple weeks about me, and I'm not impressed. I see you call yourself an Auburn fan? Really? I'm anxious to hear back from you and make this meeting a reality. I live in Marietta, and work in Roswell. I'm happy to accomadate and drive over to North Gwineet to make this happen.

In the past, I've ignored this kind of thing, but the fact that my family still has to see this kind of hate has finally become intollerable.

Kindest Personal Regards-
Daniel Cobb
