get the cheapest trail camera or even a broken one and hang it in a visible/obvious area. Then hide another camera up in a tree and aim it at the dummy cam. If he really wanted to go all out then he could get a find a 500$+ dummy camera so then he could charge the thief with a felony. Good luck tell...

I don't think there are any bobcats in Los Angeles. And I don't think its legal to shoot a firearm in the city limits. ETA, If you are talking about LA as in Louisiana, then yes, you can shoot the shite out of em....

The new rules in Mississippi about being to use a 45/70 and guns like the one you want in the primitive seasons went into effect 4-5 years ago IIRC. For the past couple of years I been hearing of hunters who have given up their traditional deer rifles (270, 30-06) in favor of those handi rifles ...
