Poorest run option i've ever seen. Jerrell Harris or Upshaw slow played (a technique where you shadow the qb down the line and don't attack unless he turns up field) JJ to the sideline. JJ pitched before JH/CU committed allowing him to make the tackle on the pitchman. That's they way they taught you to defend it in the '70s but it's not how they taught you to run it.

Not coaching - mostly it was about youth and inexperience, half a dozen plays going the wrong way and lots of little injuries. Just a woulda-coulda-shoulda sitution.
Time at an elite level. One year of elite-ness every 55 years don't get it done. Particularly when one of those years is going to be erased - i mean vacated.
I think he was simply pointing out how a 3 loss 10 win team underachieved relative to the talent on the team.

Due to AU's "special" circumstances 2 years from now their recruiting class will be outside the top 20.
