However I have it all over my flower bed and I'm scared to spray it in there and kill my plants.
Here's what I've been doing with good effect. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of sedgehammer per 2 cups of water in a cheap-o spray bottle. Isolate each sprout of nutsedge and piece of plastic or cardboard to protect plants from overspray. Spray liberally. Do this for all the ones you can find. Come back in a week and do the same thing. 1 week later cut them down to the base with scissors.
Have basically eliminated nutsedge in my beds using this method and have not killed a single plant. Good luck

What kind of people reach out to share what happened then refuse to pay for repair?? Trashy imo
If the quote you got is too expensive for them, see if they want to propose an alternative repair person/company to get a quote from?
I wouldn't threaten legal until last resort. I'd wonder if it's going to be worth it for $1000

More odd that they would close and not attempt to sell.
Also they tout $99 delivery per order (not per pallet) all over their website. I guess they never heard of raising delivery prices to cover their auto overhead??

1 mil is a good roundabout estimate and if you think otherwise go knock yourself out, get some quotes and find out for yourself (spoiler alert you'll probably get quotes that exceed $200/ft)
re: MSM Turf- Mystery Calculation?!

Pro tip - don’t use the measuring cup. If you don’t have a kitchen scale, use these protips:
- If you are spot-spraying weeds, use 1/8th teaspoon per gallon
- if you are blanket spraying, use 1/8th teaspoon per 2 gallons
- don’t forget a few tsp of surfactant
- make sure the pellets dissolve fully in your tank (I like to dissolve them in a water bottle then dump into the tank)
- give it a good 2 weeks before making any judgment because MSM is very slow acting
Good luck!

re: What is proper nitrogen content in fertilizer for St. Aug. in south Louisiana?
Posted by Sir Saint on 3/7/25 at 11:46 am
I typically stay around Randy Lemmon's recommendation: 3-1-2 or 4-1-2 NPK ratio, usually with some mix of immediate release and slow release. But there is no right or wrong answer to how much %nitrogen is "proper."
The more important point is how much nitrogen to apply at one time. 1lb of nitrogen per 1000 sq ft is the standard, usually applied 3-4 times during the growing season (every 6 to 8 weeks from April through August).

Here's the slab portion of a quote for my patio project in 2024 (Lafayette). Slab size was about 22'x24'.

re: Anyone here use yaupon in place of boxwood with good results?

I have replaced diseased boxwoods with dwarf yaupon. I will never plant another boxwood ever again.

sod comes heavily fertilized from the sod farm to begin with. Let the sod take root and start growing on it's own before dousing it in fert.
Also definitely do not do this

Weeds don’t just go away…
I meant the jarring contrast of a green weed up against the brown background of brown turf will go away. But anyways, most weeds do just go away. Annual weeds last for a season and then die. You can prevent them with pre-emergent the next year.
I am by no means a turf expert but no way in hell I would spray Celsius in March on top of centipede sod laid in November.

Maybe just me but I would not feel comfortable putting any type of herbicide on sod that was laid in November. I'd hand pull any weeds that are bothering you, and just mentally put up with the rest. Remember weeds really stick out when the grass is dormant because weeds are green and grass is brown. This issue goes away once you're greened up.

I have 3 myself. I know how much they cost. Just poking the LARPer to see what BS he comes up with next.
As expected - His wife quit her job to raise his 3+ kids so they never paid for daycare, guess that would be about 7 years? Luckily he says worked overtime for 7 consecutive years to cover her income
Bet his wife loved being home alone with 3 kids so daddy could make sure the 401k was maxed

How is it hard to believe someone can’t live on 4-5k per month with no debt payments?
Man this reads like someone who does not have children lmao.
you and your wife both work right? So I see you forgot to account for $500 per month of childcare for 4 years for each child. Don't forget the price of the actual childbirth, diapers, formula, child medical care, baby food. Multiple times 3 kids (or more? never heard someone refer to their # of children as "a couple" like you did lol). And oh yea and they are the cheaper when they're little - wait till sports/dance/gym/etc, eating gigantic portions, wanting nice clothes (and needing clothes in general since you're all out of baby/toddler hand-me-downs), social events, school fundraisers, list goes on and on.
INB4 "my mother in law watched the kids for free, my wife birthed the child at home for a low fee, the baby was breastfed until 4 years old so we never paid for food or formula, we used cloth diapers, my kids don't do any extracurriculars and eat their own shite so food is basically a non-expense, they wear my old clothes and are ecstatic to put on dad's old yellowed white tees from the 90s. like I said guys, it's not so hard to understand how to do this on 4k per month"
