re: How to kill heartworms in a dog

Posted by TheOfficial on 1/30/25 at 10:56 pm
I didn’t read everything in every post, but I had to add my experience. Growing up, I had a pit/cur mix and my little sister had an ankle bitter. Both got similar heart worms at the same time. Dad went with the quick method on both, pit/cur was fine, the small dog passed because she couldn’t pass them all at one time.

Also of note, I flew out of AEX last Saturday with some of the party that had been in there hunting and talking business. Over heard them talking about the transaction, no numbers, but sounded like the guys that had bought it.

Yeah I know you’re prolly just throwing a number out there but to help add to when. I called on them for work with my last gig, and that was it very 12 years ago. All the low level hands I would bull shite with when I stopped in, we’re already hating him as an owner. Oprah was in the purchase then too.

As a lifelong Cenla watering hole duck hunter, I think it’s a combination of things.

DU feeding ducks up north.
Farmers capitalizing on the popularity of duck hunting in more ways ever before.
And governmental regulations, not necessarily limited to LDWF.
When you realize that the talking heads rarely tell you what they really believe, life will be easier. They work for the network broadcasting the game. Of course they are pumping up the team that lost their QB to drive eye balls.

Check a bolt store?

If they don’t, get a 7/16” grade 5 or 8 bolt?

When I was first learning, I really liked the Diawa TWS. The line guide was a “T” Wing System. Helped my learning curve.
So a very close family member of my mine was the assistant coach for Rapides during those years. He coached with Skinner and Huckabay. I grew up hearing all the stories of Googy making over 200 plus free throws with out missing. And how Bunkie, who was in Rapides’ district, only had one starter not taller than Rapides’ tallest.
And the winner is…

Same thing here man. I treated my body like a playground for damn near two decades. It was easy for me to “pause” that lifestyle with one simple thought.

It wasn’t fair to my small son that I would want to get angry with him when he woke up crying and I was hungover. Once that epiphany really hit me, it was easy to not even start the process.
I remember watching the great Ernesto Hoost chopping Bob Sap’s leg out from underneath him.

re: Know Any Embezzlement Victims?

I have a buddy that embezzled a little over 180K from a regional parts house. He would find something not in stock, return it to the store so it was in inventory but the money the store was returning he would slide his personal card so the money would come back to him.

More than likely, fueling a gambling problem. Still to this day, hasn’t paid back friends he borrowed money from after he had gambled his whole check away.

I’m a Free Fly believer. Fished a charter on Mobile Bay, Red Sky Fishing Co. (absolutely incredible guy and trip) had a lightweight long sleeve hoodie shirt and Free Fly pants, stayed comfortable all day. No sunburn either. I would highly recommend all of the above.
I wonder if he can make it to Omaha today?
