Not a fan of any one horse in this race but will take a shot with Bodexpress.He was up early in the Derby but was coming from post #20.He wasn't used much before getting shuffled back.Johnny V. should help.I think he hits the board.

Max Security has the fastest time of all the major preps.All of his slow works are just lulling his competition to sleep.He has to be a key horse on exacta's and tri's.

I had Weep No More when she won the Ashland at 30/1 so will stay on her here.Seems like another race with speed to set up her late run.

I'll be watching the Santa Anita Derby 4/9.Hope Danzig Candy has a good showing.I still haven't seen anyone to touch Nyquist.Mario didn't even have to go to the whip yesterday.A win by Danzig will put him right there with Nyquist.Derby could shape up to be another Pharoh/Firing Line type race between Danzig and Nyquist.

I watched a replay of the Robert Lewis Stakes.Dortmund was all out after coming back in the stretch and nipping Firing Line.That race impressed me with Firing Line and he will be rested come Derby day.

American Pharoh really impressed me in the Ark.Derby.Competition may have been weak but it was like a gallop workout.I will be looking at Firing line also.

My big issue is the Big 12 champion. How much credit should a Big 12 champion get for being the "champion" when it gets to avoid playing an extra game, at the end of the season, against a really good team, unlike all the other champions?
The B12 has already played that extra game while the SEC was playing an 8 game schedule.
