A lever 45-70 is probably my next gun, but one at a time.

I’d love a Socom, but I already have a 20# AR10.

I don’t mind the Sig Cross, but the CA Scout or SA Redline are top choices at the moment.

Lots of other great options mentioned, but I’m wanting to stick to a 16” or 18” barrel. The Bergara was a great mention, but barrel length kicks it out.
Under $2,500 for gun. Probably same for glass.

Looking at Leupold MK5/6 or NF.

Help me choose my next rifle!

Wanting to buy a new rifle. I want a short and lightweigh tackdriver. I am thinking in the 6lb range with a 16" barrel. Caliber isnt a huge deal, but .308 seems like the right direction given the shorter barrel. I already have a few 300BLK, so not that.

Will be used for whitetail shots under 200yds and other such items. Glass will be a 2-10 or 2-12.

I am leaning towards the Springfield Armory, but what do yall think? What did I not list that I should be looking at in the same ballpark?

Springfield Armory Redline
.308 - 16" Barrel - 6lbs on the dot - $1,500ish
Springfield is also doing a tax free stamp on Banish cans for the time being. So, this effectively brings the price down $200.00

Christensen Arms Ridgeline Scout
.308 - 16" Barrel - 5.9lbs or so - $1,900ish

Ruger American Gen2 Ranch
.308 - 16" Barrel - 6.5lbs - $550

If you are interested in selling 3, Im a buyer.
Bought what I needed. Thanks!

amp draw has nothing to do with tank. It's the motor.

I am well aware of this. That is why I said low draw compressor.

It appears that the 8 gallon California Air is the best option.

Running romex for a 20a breaker will cost $200 and the compressor will be an additional $200 over the smaller CA unit.

Do you run your compressor on an extension cord by chance?

No extension cord.

I can 100% get away with a small pancake, but those inflatable pools take forever.

I am honestly looking at the logistics of just running a dedicated 20a outlet now.
Howdy all,

I currently have a Husky 20 gallon 2hp air compressor its around 10-12 years old and the motor is on its last legs (more on this).
I want to get a replacement air compressor, but want to avoid some issues my current one has.
My shop only has a 15amp breaker. I have to roll the 20 gallon compressor out of the shop and closer to the breaker to get it to fill the tank. Because of this, the motor has about crapped out and is a huge pain.
I want to replace it with a much lower drap amperage compressor.

The Husky is rated for 15 amps. This California Air Tools compressor only draws 8.5 amps.
Does anybody has any reccomendations on low amp draw compressors? Does anybody have a lead on low draw compressors with a larger tank?

All I currently do is fill car/truck tires, blow off tools before putting them up, and blowing up kids pools and toys.

Finally, running a new 20a outlet or 220v line might be a last option.
I think its getting hot between the truck and shelf. Allows the bacteria to start growing and greatly shortens the lifespan.

Call yourself a dog if you want. You’ve always been retarded though.
Does anybody have an opinion about this seed?

The reviews on their website are good, obviously. But Google has good things to say as well.

The price is very appealing.
After the drought last summer, very thin.

I was planning on finding a drag mat to pull behind the mower. Or a 2x4 worst case scenario.

I’ll get some ordered by the end of this week.
I do plan to hit it with high nitrogen fert once seed is spread to help it germinate and stunt the Centipede as well.
Howdy all,

I have decided to try and overseed my Centipede yard with Bermuda this summer/fall. My yard gets full sun and is very sandy, seems like a no brainer.

Everytime I find a strain of Bermuda that I like, its sod or plugs only. I want to seed due to cost and lazyness. I dont care that it will take much longer to fill in, the Centipede will do fine until then.

What is the best strain/type of Bermuda for the BR area. Kids and dog play in the backyard daily.

I’ve had Vizio, LG, and TCL under my patio. Doesn’t get rained directly on, but 2’ from gutters, none were ever covered. Best was Vizio and worst was TCL. Buy a cheap Vizio, get 3-4 years before it dies, rinse and repeat.
Several FFls only charge full fee for the first one, then half or less for following items.
I was going to be a SEAL, but I woulda punched that DI straight in the face, so I stayed home.
