Pirates second round pick Angel Cervantes says that he will not sign with them and is honoring commitment to UCLA. They still have saved roughly 550k so far in signings so they have some money to throw to the unsigned draft picks like Bear.

Went ahead and included Anderson because there is articles from a week ago reporting $8.8 million but no reports since or updated MLB Tracker.

Hate seeing her end up in Houston, but I know she’ll do well. I don’t think this is really a flip situation. From what I heard the Staff told her she would not be able to sign until the April 2025 but that’s through the grapevine.

With the way, the portal works nowadays The door is never closed on anybody playing in purple and gold.

Posted about Herring earlier. After that Kale Fountain just signed $1.7 million

Have not heard about Bateman yet but the the Padres created a bunch of pool money by drafting low leverage players in the top 10 rounds and comp rounds.

Griffin still unsigned but the pirates just signed their 6-10th rounders yesterday so now they have their extra pool money to finalize with the rest

Kale Fountain got $1.7 million from Padres today. Padres drafted a bunch of seniors and Graduate Senior in top 10 and comp rounds so they had lots of extra money.
