"For some reason I just find it hard to believe that someone could run a legitimate business like this, but maybe I’m wrong."

Billions of dollars lets you decide what is or is not legitimate.
There are many more than "just a few" with multiple appearances. LSU is the only one that hasn't lost a CFP game, so there's at least that.

LSU is right where most people outside of Louisiana would expect them.

Schools with the most CFP appearances from NCAA.com

Alabama 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023
Clemson 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2024
Ohio State 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2024
Georgia 2017, 2021, 2022, 2024

It’s $20 in electricity just for me to run my individual sewage treatment, can’t imagine what one of those big treatment Facilities cost.

Who hires the next HC? Is there anyone

Even remotely competent to handle this huge decision?
Best roster? You are delusional.
Why? Because:
1. It's LSU
2. We deserve someone who has won on the biggest stage
3. How will we beat Bama with a Billy Napier?
4. LSU is a Top 5 job and must have a Top 5 coach
5. Curley Hallman
Tell me you don't understand how contracts work without telling me you don't understand how contracts work.

It's not going to be an amicable divorce. CBK will be happy, LSU will not and only take solace in that it was $53 million to move on.
Guaranteed long-term contracts are the only reason a school gets a "big name" coach these days. After a few years of success, those contracts get extended in order to keep the successful ones from being poached. The LSU job isn't that attractive as it once was with NIL and the transfer portal and the impact on how fast you can build a team. Unless huge, guaranteed contracts are eliminated, they will be essential to attracting a proven "big name" coach, and they won't be eliminated. All Power 4 schools can basically offer the same annual salary, it's the length that get's a coach to leave one for another. If you go after a Group of 5 coach and are successful, you're going to be doing it every three years when they get poached by a Power 4 school offering what you won't.

Subtle anti Hammond jab

Hammond ain’t the Northshore. Ponchatoula is maybe Northshore but most would say not.
MoPho at City Park closed down yesterday permanently. I really don't care what color the owner is, the name panders to the lowest common denominator. I know it's hard keeping up but, please, do try harder.

MoPho at MSY.

It’s all about the culcha.

Granular weed and feed or spray on?
Just replacing malcontents who want more playing time with different malcontents wanting more playing time. It's really just a jigsaw puzzle and CBK is hoping to get the puzzle right, as is everyone. In the end it is CBK and even with a loaded roster, he will fall short and turn into BGB
