I regret that I have but one downvote to give

It’s been a real pleasure watching you rat bastards on your tour of shame and mediocrity.
Why Louisiana Stays Poor

This video explains why Louisiana sucks very well. The TL;DW - we give enormous tax brakes to companies, even relative to other states. Probably because our elected officials get my kick backs for helping them out.
I've used freetaxusa.com for the last 5-6 years. Works well for basic filling. Small fee for State filling but free federal

I've always liked Bone Thugs. Resurrection paper paper is one of my favorites. They were the last concert I saw in New Orleans before I moved to Seattle, it was pretty good despite a couple of the guys being dead or in jail or whatever.

re: Amazon Stock

I am no expert - but I do live in Seattle and it's incredible how much they've grown over the last few years. I considered getting in at $900 but chickened out only to get in a bit later at $1370.

I'm holding long term. Amazon has re-defined how consumers shop and continues broadening their services. How much would you pay for Amazon Prime? They just raised the rates recently and I didn't bat an eye. I'd probably pay $200/year for the convenience Amazon offers me - though that's probably because Seattle is ground zero for all the newest services.

Amazon has a ton of ideas in the hopper right now currently in development. I don't see any reason why they won't continue innovating. Maybe sell a few shares to diversify, but I would not advise dumping them all, tempting as that may be.

Man, congrats to everyone who got in around 17-18

I've got 42 shares @ $17.90, just wish I had bought more  but for someone just messing around on Robinhood I am super appreciative! Thanks for the heads up on this, Stout!
I like it. Please Don't Die, Hangout at the Gallows, and Mr. Tillman are my favorite tracks. I liked Pure Comedy, but it was top heavy. Definitely some duds. God's Favorite Customer is more balanced.

I really enjoy Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley. I like that it is reflective and kind of wistful without being hostile. Raw emotion.

This sounds like a fun time.

And, no, I'm not being sarcastic.

It's actually surprisingly cordial - mainly because the most abrasive fans on both sides are often the stupidest, whereas most LSU and Bama fans in Seattle have advanced degrees and aren't morons. It's refreshing.

LSU gets together at Ballard Lofts, sometimes we share Belltown Pub with Bama. Check out "Seattle Tigers" on Facbook, there's a pretty good group of LSU fans up here. 40 or so deep.
There's a Bama contingent that watches their CFB games at Belltown Pub. If you find yourself in Seattle on Saturdays, they're a fun bunch.

I love the mental gymnastics on this site. Seattle, home to some of the largest and most innovative businesses in the world and a major tech incubator for the last 20+ years is now going to be fricked because it’s “too liberal “? Hahahaha.

Seriously. I find it difficult to even grace that line of thought with a response.

Do you live in Seattle proper or somewhere in the metro? I also love it here but I'm not a big fan of Seattle itself.

I'm in Greenwood, north central Seattle. I definitely don't think I'd love living in the downtown/Belltown/Capitol Hill area, but north Seattle from Ballard to Ravenna is actually really nice - pretty residential, lots to do. Where do you live? EDIT: I see you're in Tacoma. I was just there Monday at a Rainiers game but haven't spent too much time there.
