re: Tell me if this is true. Was told that if someone doesn't pay their property taxes

truth!!! have a neighbor who lets his slide for two years then has to pay agent certain percentage for them paying taxes. crazy to just piss money away like that. neighbor is in paper everytime unpaid taxes are posted. not sure how it works if house isnt paid off because neighbor has their's paid off.

re: Pitchers struggle with 2 outs to close the innings & the bats have basically disappeared

i stand corrected, you are right just looked. it seemed like we were just walking them in but i guess not. walks just drive me crazy and seemed like we walked too many in but TN was getting some well timed hits after couple walks. last night it was 9 ER off 11 hits.

not sure how many unearned runs we have given up this weekend from walks but know its alot. no telling how many runs TN would have this weekend so far if they had gotten a few hits at clutch moments. they showed TN's RISP ratio and it wasnt good at all. walking in runs is totally unacceptable at college level i feel like im watching first season of kid pitch all over again. hopefully they can start throwing more strikes and bats come alive today there is nobody i want to take a series from more than these TN.

re: Jack Bech…BOOM!!!
Posted by tigerinms on 4/25/25 at 8:15 pm
So happy for him !!! It hurt my heart when he transferred was my favorite tiger at the time. Know Taylor was a great player and liked him but there was just something bout Bech I really loved. Then to have tragedy with brother getting killed so young after I lost mine at early age he has a special place in my heart and will be pulling hard for him. the helmet he had on table tells you he loves some LSU,

Dent in passenger side bumper? Maybe that’s made that way just looked for something that stood out. My company truck has a clean carfax and just had whole front cap replaced and windshield at 3000 miles because of limb during storms for a total of $11000. Freaking headlight cost $1500 alone. Paid cash for repairs didn’t claim on insurance. Truck before this had clean carfax when I traded it in to get new one. Front end of it took out big ole doe nanny $7000 in repairs that were paid on cash so clean carfax isn’t true indicator.
re: Happy Easter Eve. Post your favorite gospel song.

A little late but since it’s Easter gonna say “He’s Alive” by Dolly Parton which seems very appropriate for today. loved the story told in song and the shock of what they found.

My wife and one of her sisters look like mother and daughter meaning very nice figures and nice looking for 57 and 65. They have both taken care of themselves. Their other sister looked a lot like their mother who wasn’t an ugly lady but on the bigger side from not staying on top of her health and fitness.

my suggestion is go to junior/community college for first two years. my youngest went to one here in MS then through good grades got a full ride to Ms St. oldest only went straight to Ole Miss because he had a four year full ride. actually made money while going to college. most kids arent sure what they want to do right out of high school so going to jr. college for basics is definitely route these kids need to take.

read this story about Meridian helicopters. looks like they refurbish them. scary to think what happened knowing this.
shows sending one to FlyNYON in New York City wonder if this is copter that crashed!!!
Meridian Helicopters announced the completion and delivery of its 29th “tip-to-tail” refurbishment of a Bell 206L4 helicopter, sold to FlyNYON to support their air charter and tour operations in New York City.
This extensive project highlights Meridian’s dedication to delivering high-quality, turnkey aircraft solutions tailored to customer needs.
The six-month, 2,700-hour refurbishment process was comprehensive, including an overhaul of the engine and dynamic components. The upgrades resulted in a weighted time remaining of over 70 percent, ensuring reliable performance for years to come.
The airframe was stripped and repainted in a modern three-tone design, complemented by matching three-tone ultra-leather seating throughout the cabin.
Enhancing the aircraft’s interior, Meridian installed a state-of-the-art Garmin avionics suite with Bluetooth connectivity and full environmental controls from Air Comm.
Additionally, the helicopter was outfitted with a lightweight emergency pop-out float system to meet FlyNYON’s operational requirements.
Michael Bashlor, managing partner of Meridian Helicopters, stated: “We have a long relationship with FlyNYON through years of leasing helicopters. Meridian takes great pride in the fact that FlyNYON selected us to provide this beautiful Bell 206L4. Our goal with this aircraft was to deliver a turnkey solution — a lightweight VIP aircraft equipped with very specific equipment and options. We strived to deliver a like-new aircraft that exceeded expectations.”
Pat Day, CEO at FlyNYON, added: “We are very excited to be taking delivery of this beautiful 206L4. With its arrival, our fleet grows to seven helicopters, which will help to meet the 2025 demand of our loyal customers.”

re: New Trucks/Transmissions
Posted by tigerinms on 3/31/25 at 3:24 pm
we have around (9) 2023/2024 Silverados for company trucks all with 10 speed and have yet to have any issues with transmission.
the one GMC we got did have multiple trips to dealership over hard shifting.
we have learned to buy bumper to bumper extended warranty for all our trucks because it only takes one really bad truck for you to learn.

My papa always had some good ones:
Nervous as a cat covering up shite
Dead as door nail
That dog will hunt
Don’t hit nail with meat on it
When someone got good arse chewing-well he tore him a new one
Couldn’t hit broad side of a barn
hotter than a virgin coot on prom night
so full of shite their breath stinks
and the best of all!!!
if she had as many poking out of her as she had poked in her she would look like a porcupine!!!

med students got email this morning telling them if they matched. Friday morning they will find out where they matched before match day ceremony Friday afternoon. great to know you match but stressful not knowing where you matched whether it was 1st choice or one lower on list. Son informed me he had a job this morning lol now fingers crossed for him getting first choice which is very possible based on his step two score and vibes he is getting from prefered hospital.
re: New cars not coming with a spare tire…..
Posted by tigerinms on 3/13/25 at 9:39 am
bmw i bought had run flats and no spare so i purchased the air compressor with slime and bought regular tires when it needed more. run flats ride like crap and willing to take chance that between air and slime i can fix tire when needed. if its a bad enough puncture run flats would be no help anyways. decided on this option after seeing tons of people on bimmer board discussing this problem.
re: Did you ever meet or have a number of years with your great grandparents?
Posted by tigerinms on 3/12/25 at 5:56 am
Been very blessed with some great longevity genes in my family. On mothers side knew both great grandparents on both her moms and dads side. On her dad’s side remember both great grandparents and my great great grandmother. On dad’s side knew my great great grandfather remenber going to his house to get some water out of his hand drawn well after hunting on family property. My grandparents on my mom’s side both died after 90 and great great grandmother died just short of 100. I have great genes but haven’t taken best care of myself so not sure how long I make it but can’t blame it on bad genes if I pass at early age. Thanks for reminding me of the blessing of having all them in my life at early age.

i 2nd the slime one specifically Slime Flat Tire Repair Kit 50139 from Lowes. its just inflator or inflator with slime. nice to have peace of mind i can air tire up with slime to plug most holes and be ok till i can get to tire shop. wife's BMW had run-flats but looked on BMW site and everyone was recommending the slime one to be able to run regular ties since it doesnt have a spare.
re: Which tires to put on Jeep Cherokee? Outside of Michelin
Posted by tigerinms on 2/17/25 at 6:17 am
I have been researching tires on tire rack and then looking on Facebook marketplace for pull offs in them brands. Last two set of tires have been purchased for $500 and both had less than 200 miles on them. People that hunt specifically put mid tires or aggressive all terrains on their brand new truck immediately. Not sure how to post pic just found some 275/65/20 Goodyear trail runners with 20 miles on them with 20 miles on them for $600 on marketplace here in east central Ms in couple of minutes
