Everyone is overlooking LSU

Personally I could not care less if LSU or Alabama ever win another game. Having said that i think it a bit presumptuous that everyone in the national media and Bama folks are talking about the iron bowl deciding one of two spots in the BCS championship meaning this game is an afte thought to them. As I said, I do not like LSU but I do respect LSU and it looks to me like Bama is walking into an ambush.

A bunch of you guys are saying that you got dominated in some facets of the game. As an Auburn fan I did not see it that way. It was a hard fought game that could have gone either way. Best Of Luck the rest of the way, I doubt you will lose again at least I would be surprised...

The Pick
With Newton at the controls, Auburn's offense looks very difficult to contain. And as good as LSU is, it surrendered 29 points to a mediocre Florida team in its last road game, thanks mostly to a shoddy offense that left the defense in bad spots. Another effort like that, and this one will be over early. LSU has to hope for a low-scoring affair, because despite Auburn's defensive struggles, LSU is not capable of scoring a lot of points. With an emotional home crowd watching, Newton enjoys another big day and Auburn cruises. AUBURN 38, LSU 17.

Up until I read this board this week and seen the countless built in excuses for your loss this weekend, I had Bama alone at 100%. I never seen a fan base as a whole blame officials for a loss BEFORE the game was played, talk about paranoid. It is already well known that LSU fans are the most classless and many here substantiated that fact calling for Newton to get hurt. Bama is just Bama but I would now say (can't believe it's true, but it is) that LSU fans are as bad or possible a little worse. At least Bama fans do not cry and make excuses before a game is played...LMFAO...

I enjoyed the various responses. I think there were 2 cordial posts and 15 not so cordial as one would expect. Now that we have introduced ourselves to one another I am curious about one thing. Do you guys really think you will slow down (even a little)Auburn's offense. Seriously, do you? I understand you have good numbers, but you really have not played anyone close to what you will see Saturday on offense. Florida? Mississippi St? I don't think so. I figure Auburn scores about 38 and you guys about 23. My biggest concern as An Auburn fan is the luck factors as Miles must practice with craft to do what he has done to date. Finally, it is nice to play a team with no offensive play makers for a change. Regardless, here's the the winner going to Atlanta to face South Carolina in the championship game. I'm sure they are looking forward to another shot at us. they will be the 2ND best team we face after Bama...Hopefully Petersen tries to tackle Newton head on, i would love that. Honestly though, I hope Petersen does not try it, he could get hurt and you guys need him against Bama... :geauxtigers:

I thought I would drop in and say hi. I have been reading your various posts and find them to be about as expected. Should be a good game and hope both teams stay healthy. Honestly, I do not like LSU no more then you like Auburn, but I do respect you as most of you respect Auburn. Whatever happens may the winner win the West and both of us Beat Bama...I'll be in and out this week to take my fair share of abuse, but will stay respectful as possible here in your home...Best Of Luck after this week...
