I'm sure he's just trying to get the official's attention heading into the series but damn, seems like a pretty good way to run to an asswhippin all the same:
quote:

"They are the biggest flopping team in the NBA," Vogel told reporters at Thursday's practice in Indianapolis. "It'll be very interesting (to see) how the referees officiate the series and how much flopping they reward."

Not bad though having the logos on the rotator cuffs looks just plain stupid.
Now what Los Angeles? The Jaguars?
quote:

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Vikings moved to within a governor's signature of getting a new $975 million stadium on Thursday after the state Senate approved a plan that relies heavily on public financing.

Gov. Mark Dayton has said he'll sign the measure, meaning the Senate's 36-30 vote was effectively the final barrier for the stadium. The House passed it overnight.

After the Senate vote, jubilant Vikings vice president Lester Bagley hugged another team official and shouted, ''Let's build it!'' Vikings fans broke out singing the ''Skol Vikings'' fight song and the Senate president admonished them to take it outside the chamber.

The team chased a new stadium for more than a decade but had little leverage until its lease expired this past year on the 30-year-old Metrodome. Dayton led a newly urgent charge for the team, arguing that without a new building the state could lose its most beloved franchise.

The deal guarantees the Vikings' future in Minnesota for three decades.

Dirtiest? Maybe but probably not.

Douchiest? Absolutely!

I know there is gonna be some push-back on this but I wonder what % of this board/the general sports public would be in favor of it.

Then why do you have Temple as your favorite team?
Cause it starts with a T.

Your dislike of certain sports teams - based on cities or specific teams?
Varies depending on the team but I can say for certainty that both Boston's & Philly's teams & fanbases can all take a flying leap off a building.

However, Marinatto had brought in eight new members -- Temple, Memphis, SMU, UCF, Houston, Boise State, San Diego State and Navy -- to stabilize the football side of the league. Temple will join in 2012 with the others joining in 2013, except Navy, which will join in 2015.

Getting owned this badly this early on a Monday ain't a good sign for the rest of the week kid.
Not crazy but foolish. At Age 66, holding 2 NBA titles as a player, holding 11 NBA titles as a coach (Record) & already having had some different health issues, it's just not worth it to come back & be dropped into the grinder of NY with Melo & that roster.

Think either make the final roster?
Davis, as Simmons articulated a few weeks back:

"It's the no-brainer of no-brainers! Anthony Davis just won an NCAA title. He protects the rim like nobody we've seen since a young Dikembe Mutombo. He's the ultimate teammate, someone who can affect basketball games without taking a single shot. Unlike Bynum, we won't have to worry about him screwing up team chemistry. He'll be the ultimate happy-to-be-there young guy."
Damn, liked him as a CBB Analyst on ESPN.
I've seen the question asked in some different formats but never here (SIAP). But, knowing everything that has come out in recent years about head trauma/depression/dementia & anticipating the further research that will be released moving forward, would/will you let your son go out for Football or would/will you steer him more to Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, etc?
Ebanks coming up big so far in MWP's absence.

As much as a certainty as you can probably get.

His off-the-field issues were virtually non-existent after her xferred & he simply has too much talent to fall that much further.
Yeah & a thousand pound boulder would crush a 2 ounce paper cup too.

what are the expectations for Gabbert?
To be less shitty.

So are people saying Rams and Cowboys because of the players they picked are LSU alums? Cause that's really homerish.
I'm sure as hell not an LSU fan & yes, both the Rams & Cowboys have done very well for themselves so far. Particularly the Rams if they can hit it big on their next slew of picks.
