re: 10 yrs ago tonight was tge Peach Bowl vs Miami

That fight was big Dwayne Bowe swinging his helmet around in the tunnel and knocking out some of his Miami homies. That's the same LSU team that a year later had a record 5 first round draft picks and Dwayne was one of them.

No one is more happy about this than the Gumps. They'll be stomping Auburn for several more years with Steele running the Defense.

Tech is a trash school. Not even Texas kids want to go there because - well... Lubbock. Its generally 7th or 8th on anyone's college list. If they don't have the grades to get into SMU, Rice or UT, and can't afford Baylor or TCU, don't have high enough lottery number and ACT score to get into TAMU then they have to start looking at the lowest tier - Texas Tech, UNT, Texas State, Univ of Houston.

This is such bullshite. Of course players get better coaching at the pro level.
What part of Hunter not being shown even the most basic pass rushing techniques at LSU did you not understand?

Miles took Brick to kick rocks so it seems your bitching is misplaced.
Les kept Brick around longer than he should have, and didn't intercede when it was obvious that the dline was regressing. Les is there watching practice how did he not see that Brick wasn't coaching. As far as kicking rocks, he didn't fire Brick, he kept him on staff at full pay in an administrative role and Brick left on his own for... UT LOL sucks to be a longhorn.

These types of errors are always expected when a new coordinator implements a new system.
According to Steele he didn't want to mess with something that was working so he left things as is and didn't implement anything new.

Your team gives me a boner. Cecil Collins and Chad Lavalais! Bravo, well played.
re: Are you excited, pessimistic, or indifferent about football next year?

Ditto what he said. Another trip to another lame bowl game and probably losing to another half arse team that we should destroy. All because Les is less.
re: Les and Cam relationship on the offense.

It's obvious Les has to clear all plays called, he has to think about everything for 20 seconds before it registers in his pea brain. That's why we get so many delay of game penalties - waiting on Les to get the grass out of his mouth and wake up.
re: Most receptions in first two NFL seasons- all time record

and the best Les could do with these two, Mett and Hill was 8-4. Any wonder why so many players leave so early? Les can't make a winning game plan.

Agreed. I often get some very solid info that about 85% of the time turns out to be spot on, and the other 15% in the right ballpark, but I don't share any of it with the ranttards for the reasons you outlined plus I just don't feel most are mature enough t handle it. We're talking about some serious internet feebs here that "demand" sources be named.
re: Dural to have Surgery this week

Did any of you Tiger fans happen to see "Inside SEC" the lead up to the LSU - Arky game? An SEC Network camera crew recorded Les and team during practice the week before we played the Razorbacks. At one point during practice Brandon Harris threw a high floater out to some receiver - I think Dupree but not sure, that was only catch-able with some tremendous leaping skills and would have put the receiver in harms way during a game. I swear to god...Les put his arm around Harris and said "do you see what you did there... You threw it high enough to where the defender couldn't get to it and allowed the receiver to make a play on the ball". Low and behold what happens in the Ole Miss game? Les is coaching him to throw too high.
re: Ron Higgins and Jeff Duncan see it very clearly regarding Miles

It all has to do with coaching. We had the Dline talent but our LSU coaches (Brick and Les) did NOTHING with it. Go watch the Vikings - Packers game from this past Sunday. The Vikings coaching staff were talking about what a great find Danielle Hunter was late in the draft. He's an impressive physical specimen who received little to no coaching in college. The Vikings said when he came to them he didn't know any of the most basic pass rushing techniques and if he had he would have been much higher up in the draft. That's all on Les...

Real coaching hasn't happened at LSU at any level or position in years. Did anyone catch Jeremy Hill's sideline interview during his bye week last year, or Odell Beckhams? Both were asked on their visit back to LSU what the difference was between playing in the NFL and the SEC, was it the speed? Strength? etc... They had the same answer, the speed and strength was all the same as the SEC, everyone was fast. The biggest difference was the preparation for each game, coaching and strategy. Everyone knew their assignments and role, there was intense work around strategy sessions and opponent match up and a tremendous amount of game planning and discipline installed. There was no going out there and winging it like we've seen happen so many times with Les Miles "coached" teams. Bye Les!

Great attitude. Strive to be mediocre much? You should go root for La Tech.
re: can someone please give me positives

Les will never be more creative, he's had dozens of wake up calls already. He is fully embedded in the Bo Schembechler offensive scheme - run it up the middle, run left, run right. Occasionally pass if you have to.

AMEN! Its again on LES for bringing back that loser BDP. Why the hell is that guy our game day coaching field general?
no one has done less with more than Les
no one has done less with more than Les

Les did bench Harris during the Auburn game but kept Jennings in there even after he did worse than Harris. Jennings must have naked pics of Les' daughter.
