BK also had a 10 AM Tee time at BRCC Sunday AM following the loss. Ask yourself this, any chance Kirby Smart was out playing golf Sunday AM following an L? The answer is no and shows that BK is not really committed to winning a championship here.

My golf in the off season - but less than 24 hrs after a loss you can be on the golf course.

In their defense, this has to be the most difficult time to be in local sports radio. Yeah they have limited LSU football practice access but there’s no game film/tape to go through. They’re finding their footing for sure but I’m hopeful once the season starts the show will dramatically improve. They can talk X’s and O’s and breakdown film really well and I’m excited for that.

Honestly, the most annoying thing to me is how Hester has to remind everyone listening that he played FB in the NFL 4-5 times per show… Like, my guy, we know.

He just decommitted from OU. Maybe the writing is on the wall and Bowe Bentley is headed to Normand.
God, another one of these dumb arse threads. What’s the O/U on how many of these are started between now and September? Instead of bitching about it I’d love for the team and coaching staff to embrace the tough game Week 1 and win that bitch. I don’t care to see LSU vs the ULMs of the world.

I want Kelly and this staff to have a better grasp of what type of talent we have before Week 1 instead of figuring it out Week 4. I believe we’ll have a better chance of that with less staff turnover and cohesion going into next year. Win the damn game and build momentum early. Our fans need to stop being bitches about it and constantly complaining
Pretty sure they’re separated or divorced already. Neither of them rocking a wedding ring.

if he made it through year 1,the only reason he would leave in Y2 is if he couldnt win the job going into Y3. Which means there are better WRs that will see the ball instead

I’d expect him to get more playing time this year but the WR room is loaded with older guys. Hopefully he gets some real SEC experience and gets some TDs under his belt because going into 2025-2026 season you won’t have Lacey, Hilton, CJ Daniels, or Z. Thomas. It would be up to Sampson, Anderson, K. Parker, and company.

Are him, Bradford, and Anderson gonna be safeties?

I believe Shea said LSU sees Anderson as a WR and that’s where he worked at the summer camps.

Took his OV on June 19th. He was the only visited during that time. Hope Shea is right and just didn’t want to give too much away. Meadows, TaRon, and maybe Wright out of Destrahan would be a solid WR haul. Ffrench would make it an elite class but idk if we land him.

re: Just timed my ACs run time

I just cleaned my outside unit coils and hosed it out real good. First time I’ve done it but will make sure to do this yearly moving forward. The unit sounds like it’s running so much easier and has to make it more efficient.
He visits LSU the week before.. Gotta love having the last visit and seems like Bo Davis has been after him.
He already had a Missouri offer so I imagine that came from Blake Baker? I’d imagine he’ll camp this summer and get an offer. I could be wrong though

Ranking of capable talking heads on 104.5: 1. Hunt Palmer 2. Hanny

Lost all credibility right here.. Hunt is good for basketball and baseball coverage but doesn’t know his arse from 3rd base when it comes to football. Hanny is the goat. A show with Hanny and Hunt at lunch would be great. Give Ott a 15 min segment to throw out his gambling picks and that would be enough for me.
Womack switched from #17 to #16. He got some playing time early in the first quarter in 3rd and long situations. I had to look the roster up mid game because he caught my eye. Definitely looks the part
I’m not 100% sold on our Cornerback room just yet. That my biggest question mark on this team and Week 1 vs FSU will tell the story.
Word through the grapevine is that he’s setting a commitment date within the week. Apparently the family is over the recruiting process and wants to shut it down. Committing this shortly after the Bayou Splash looks promising.

One edge rusher still seems light even tho Colin Simmons would be massive

I’ve heard Shea and Billy mention that Cobbins is most likely an edge guy at some point in college but just needs to bulk up. Even if Colin Simmons is the only edge guy, that’s one hell of a One to get.

Y’all are melting, meanwhile, Davis has all but locked up Ory Williams and has three 4 star olinemen visiting this weekend

This ^^

Give me Ory Williams, Weston Davis, and 1 of Blake Ivey/Ziron Black and I’d love our OL haul

re: Colin Hurley Elite 11

Yes and No. They’re playing 7on7 but it’s more situational. They’re coached by ex college/NFL QBs. Working on their footwork, route combinations vs specific coverages, etc. They’ve done combine interview question training for the contestants in the past.

I’d put stock into Elite 11 but not the end all be all. Mentally, it’s tough for them and you’re throwing to guys with zero chemistry. If you can do well there, chances are you’ve got some good intangibles and talent. Doesn’t mean you’ll be the next Joe Burrow.

Night #2 Updates — for those concerned about his accuracy…

LINK

quote:

7:15 p.m PT: LSU commit Colin Hurley showed off a live arm. We charted him as accurate on 16 of 20 passes. He showed some nice touch at times, as well with some nice layered throws. The footwork still has room for improvement, as he wasn’t overly natural on the move and could up the urgency. The Elite 11 staff score for Hurley was 42. — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
