Imagine Big Baby Davis in Canada's Offense...
42 LSU
20 USM

Should be entertaining for a half.

All the teams on the list are teams that lost their no doubt number 1, top tier running back. LSU didn't lose that.

#3 Cal didn't lose their #1

In the more category (11-15):

Arizona State only lost one of its two co-#1's

Miami didn't lose their #1

I believe our storyline is much more riveting in that we have Hill who is currently vying for the top spot along with the former co-#1 in Blue.

You should inform the coaches since I don't think they know.

Blue is coming off of major knee surgery. As of this moment, the coaches aren't looking at him as the #1. It will take lots of reps for the coaches to see how he is progressing from such a devastating injury. Which is why I think the story is very interesting. Hill has made a statement to be the #1, Blue a former #1 is out there showing what he can do. A very fun offseason RB situation.

A RB situation other schools could only dream about having!

CFN Top RB Position Battles

CFN came out with their list of top 10 RB position battles (along with 5 more on another page).

LSU is not on either list. I know that Hill is our #1, but Blue is definitely going to at least push him if he is back to his early season form.

That seems like a much more riveting positional battle than at least a couple of the so-called top 10 position battles offered by CFN.
Interesting read today from overthecap.com.

Saints Cap Situation Post-Restructuring (2014)

I really like our chances of building up a team for a run next year. Loomis has really navigated a tough cap situation well. I hope he can continue that trend in 2014.
The fact that the Big Least is resorting to Tulsa to try its best to stay relevant, should be a sign that the current FBS system is nearing an end, especially with the playoff system in place (and future expansion of it likely).

Structurally, the FBS is becoming FBS-A and FBS-AA. The big schools are trying so hard to get away from the ankle-biters, and rightly so.

Why would an SEC, Big Ten, Big XII, ACC, Pac-12 want teams at the table that are heavily subsidized by state funds? I know that if I were at a school generating 90-100 percent of my schools revenue, I wouldn't want to share the pie with schools that rely on 35-70 percent of athletic funding to come from the state.

Did you do the MBA/JD at the same time? I wanted to do it after I graduated, but the state would only pay for SLU for my MBA.

Yes I took advantage of the dual degree program. It worked out well for me. SLU's MBA is legit from what I understand so kudos on that.

I'm sorry to hear this.

As redemption, I did receive a Master's and Law Degree from LSU. I atoned.

ULL realizing it is on a sinking ship

Had a chance to see what was going on across the Atchafalaya.

Looks like some ULL fans are catching on that their time in the FBS is coming to a close.

Western Kentucky to CUSA

They are already pointing fingers at administrators from the 1990's to blame for their current predicament.

I love ULL academics (where I have my Bachelor's). The sports fan base... not so much.

re: Bomb Threat on LSU's campus...

People cant even get out of parking lots! What is the point of an evacuation if no one is able to leave. All roads are blocked by people trying to make turns against flow of traffic. I think the freshmen are really panicking lol.

The evacuation is such a cluster****. Our emergency policy planners have been caught sleeping at the wheel again. I parked my car and walked to a restaurant instead.

4.5 inches... I wish.
Not surprising... one awesome season at Nevada... he leaves

One good year at Stanford (piggy backing off of the Lopez Twins)... he leaves...

One very good year with LSU... and now he stinks

He has had 3 good years in his head coaching career... It will be a while until his fourth good one.
This has to be one of the dumbest Topics ever.

JJ looking like Vince Young against Tennessee....

The same Tennessee who can hang their hats on victories over Montana, Buffalo, and Cincinnati.

Let's see... VY was only able to singlehandedly manhandle a USC team that was absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball, oh AND it was in the BCSNCG.

You are a moron.
Palmer and Pollack... the metrosexual power hour x 3

At least when I watch them, I don't feel the urge to wear a poncho like I do when Holtz speaks.
Joe Alleva should not be allowed to manage a major college program again.

He threw the Duke Lacrosse players under the bus, culminating is a multi-million dollar settlement in favor of the players.

Now, he quickly denounces the LSU football players, suspends JJ indefinitely, and now it looks like there wasn't a whole lot to the story. Unglesby will go for every dime possible.

I couldn't believe LSU hired that man in the first place. Now we are in hot water like Duke University was.
What pissed me off about the broadcasters on TV was that they kept talking about how the center (Grasu) was holding his own.

He wasn't holding his own, just like the rest of that O-Line against our big boys.
I look forward to seeing Crowton's "real" offense. :rotflmao:

Over/under 3.5 short side option calls by Maryland tonight?
