Friends rented a cabin in the Smokies a few winters ago. It was a crazy steep driveway, and well it iced over. We had to hike up an iced driveway to visit because the cars wouldn't make it up. That was not fun.

Yes, I can't wait to see the lights. And its a Christmas concert. So it will be a great time. And its the kiddos first concert, which he is looking forward too. He has been begging me to take him to one.

I think it took my son and I like two hours. We put up a tree and decorate the mantle, so nothing too crazy.

I dont know, judging by how my son pays attention at age 7 and how many times hes accidentally hit the gas just riding along in mine, I would have to pass for a 7 year old.

re: Anyone Here Had Success Treating Rosacea?
Posted by HoustonChick86 on 11/28/25 at 1:26 pm to RLDSC FAN
The best thing I have ever used to treat my psoriasis, is an Xtract laser, light therapy.
That does not treat Rosacea, however I know there are some lasee therapies that do. It won't help you now, but wanted to mention so you could ask a dermatologist when you see one.

We are close to both of our families and all get along well, but I spend a lot of Thanksgivings and Christmases alone because my husband often works them and it is a built-in excuse for me as well. There's nothing like it.
I have never had a problem spending holidays alone either. Its less stressful and actually feels like a break.
Tomorrow I am just cooking a few things and going to my boyfriends with the kiddo. I will take that over the stress of having to travel and fight holiday crowds and traffic.

I'll make him in charge of rolls, that's all he will eat anyways.
And I'm making real mac and cheese from scratch, not the boxed powdered cheese kind. You'd be so proud.

Just bought everything for Thanksgiving today. Never made a turkey before, so we'll see how it goes.
Also ordered all my Christmas gifts online today, so that's done too.
I feel very on top of it at the moment.

Moved here in 2019 and it was the best decision I've made. People complain Knoxville is getting too crowded. But for good reason because its awesome.
The traffics not bad like people complain. I can get across town in 5 o'clock traffic pretty routinely. And its like 15-20 miles.
