re: Mississippi St OC Les Koenning to Texas
Posted by NE14LSU on 1/15/14 at 1:43 pm to nicholastiger
This is a smart move on his part cause he sucked as an OC. Besides Prescott they really didn't have any offensive firepower. No real playmakers to speak of plus Mullen doesn't do extremely well next yer with all the returning players they have then he is gone anyway. Ole Miss is continuing to get better while they are making it to bowl games. Texas get ready for the spread without Tebow. Should be interesting.

Lack morals and real commitment to the program and college football in general.

Not a fan of Kiffin but a good play caller. Will have QBs throwing for 3,000 every year and have better production from the WRs. He is a helluva recruiter but still morals. Good luck with this Gumps.
I just love the the way people forget that we had to great backs like we did in the 80s and that worked out extremely well for us, as I recall. Shouldn't matter what happens if Hill leaves or not. We will be fine. This is LSU. Whoever is back there will have to share the load because this is how MIles and Cameron operate. Most successful teams have two good backs, especially in the NFL. LF can block and catch just like Hill and with the lost of two great WRs we need both of them on the field at the same time to help Jenningshave more options to move the ball. The bottom line is we need play makers and they can both help us win I. The long run.

I believe he receives playing time on his pure talent alone. That being said why not come to LSU where him and TQ can be the next dynamic duo. If your talented you can be a star wherever you go. I QB are young but talented and Cameron will find a way to get you the ball. Represent yourself and the state by becoming a TIGER. :geauxtigers:

Congrats. Thanks for being a real TIGER and finishing in style. :nana:
This is why he should come back and prove he is one the best in the country. This year was certainly no accident and another year will prove that
Would of been a great pick up. Just happy to see that he is not going to Bama. Good luck and we will see you on the field soon.
Time to run the plays that Miles & Company like to call which spread the field and makes the defense play sideline-to-sideline. I think the future is looking bright and hope that all of the future recruits will see when it your turn to play for the TIGERS you damn better make the most of it. Keep it up and looking forward to you doing great things AJ....... :geauxtigers:     :usa:
re: Dan Mullen getting unnecessary criticism?

You guys would love to have Hud. Look what he has done with ULL. It turned them into championship team in no time. If you look at his roster the team is mostly made up of recruits from MS. This is quite impressive considering that has never happened before. I think he could win more games and if nothing else at least recruit well in the state.

re: Miles has one of the 25 best tenures of a coach at a single school ever

Doesn't matter how you want to spin or not. People don't like losing. He continues to plague us with bad coaching decisions. That is the real issue. Yes, we are one of the best teams in the country but we don't play like it, week in and week out. I just can't sit here and blame it on assistants when we continue to sputter along. If people don't like this it is because the believe that "everyone deserves a trophy no matter what." This is LSU.......we want and deserve championships not excuses.....that is not sunshine.... :geauxtigers:

I have to agree with you. When we win big against Ole Piss today I believe we move into top four and we need help along the way but we control our on destiny :geauxtigers:
Look like the Dale Brown era of recruiting is back. Great pick up and about time we start bringing it back to the "Glory Days."    :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:
