re: I'm going to be building a farmhouse table soon. Any tips?

One is expanding width wise while one is expanding lengthwise. If you use tight connections the chance of cracking is great.
This is all dependent on where the table will reside in the years to come. If the table will be in a climate controlled environment, you do not have to worry about anything moving over time, once it is finally acclimated to its environment.
Homes up north rarely have A/C units so the temperature changes daily. This is why the breadboards are only secured in the middle and left to free float on the ends.
I built a farmhouse style table with breadboards 2 years ago, it maybe move 1/16" of an inch. I used pine for mine because I have small kids and they will destroy it anyway, and I figured when they get older I just just replace the top with a hardwood. I also used Titebond III and pocket holes to join everything
together.

I cannot get it to consistently get to high enough temps. Thought I had it figured out by letting it burn a little longer with everything open before I tried to cook something . Now it seems it gets to around 275 degrees and stall out around that temp when I close lid to cook
Make sure the thermometer is reading correctly. Do this by removing it and check it to boiling water, should read 212. If not, adjust it by holding the nut on the back and turning it either way. Repeat until thermometer is reading 212.
You should calibrate your thermometer every so often.

The hell with RTIC, my soft cooler (30) is coming apart at the top and the zipper broke. The customer service lady told me to get a pool repair kit and to bring it to a seamstress to fix the zipper. I even told her I will pay for repairs, told me there was nothing they could do.

ETA: Main struggle is hitting protein. While trying to keep fat & carbs under, i'm just not getting the protein i need. I know it's just a matter of the sources for each
If your goal is to lean and lose fat, I would suggest a lower protein and higher fat intake, especially while doing IF. Lower your carbs to about 20 grams, and protein to about .8 grams per pound of body weight, with fats making up the rest.
Too much protein can actually have a negative effect in terms of losing weight. Your body will only absorb so much protein , the rest will get converted to fat (belly flab) and the excess aminos will be excreted.

Got two of my tanks filled last weekend for a few boils. Neither tank would flow 100% afterwards. We got the pots to boil, barely. I suspected the regulator, but I put both tanks on my grill and they would barely light 3 of the burners.
Are the vales on the BBQ Pit or burner open when you open the bottle? If so, you need to reset both regulators. Hook up the bottle again, open all the valves, close them, then open the butane bottle.

So they ran over her with a lawnmower? How the hell do you not see her?!?
I was 4 years old and had the lawnmower run over my foot. My dad was driving the mower at the time. I went running from the front yard through the gate and he never saw me. Still have my foot, it s just a little messed up. Can still bring him to tears when we joke about it.

how many calories should someone trying to lose weight consume if they are 5'7ish, 190?
I'm 5'7" and 190, and I am currently is a caloric deficit. I consume approximately 1500 calories a day. This puts me in a 500 calorie deficit per day which should equate to about 1 lb loss per week.
This is different for everyone, you should first establish you BMR, then determine your activity level. Once this is established subtract 500 calories and that would be the calories needed to establish a caloric deficit. Download Myfitnesspal app, this helps a bunch when tracking calories.

Also, for those that IF and work out in the mornings.....do you do any BCAA's or protein powders before or after? I plan to run/lift at 4:30-5:00a.m. hours, but I find i have better results when i add protein shakes to my workouts(shakes = powder + water)
I take BCAA with my pre-workout and then another dose of BCAA post workout. Been doing this for a while now and it has not affected my IF, from what I can tell. The benefits of taking BCAA outweighs not taking them, in regards to muscle recovery.

I know my body composition pretty well so if anyone could answer the actual question id appreciate it.
When you get that low in BF, the only way to lose more BF is to alter your diet, period. At his low BF you are basically is a cutting phase. My suggestion would be consume about .82g per pound of body weight, 30% fat intake of daily calories, and the remaining calories should consume of complex carbs.

I wish I would've found this thread two months ago. I'm doing low carb with occasional IF. I'm doing the 16:8 when I do it, but I didn't find I lost any more than I did when I ate a small breakfast. I'm down 20lbs since 2/12 but find myself at a stall. I work out 3/4 times a week, after work. Any suggestions or advice before I go check any of these links out? TIA!
I've been doing IF for about 3 months now and have lost about 22 lbs. I wouldn't directly contribute IF to weight loss.
IF is not some magical weight loss program. Sure it can assist, but what makes IF work for me is that it helps control my intake of calories. Doesn't matter what diet you are on and what you eat. The main drive for weight loss is calories consumed and calories burned.
I don't like meal prepping, it just doesn't work for me. I eat 2 meals a day with a snack in between. I follow a 18:6 IF period 12pm-6PM. I work out and get my cardio in at 4:30 am.
My advice would be to start counting calories if you don't already do this. This was a huge eye opener for me. Write everything down that you eat, you will be amazed at how much it adds up. Stick with it, it is a slow process but if you are consistent, you will see results.

I'm trying to get some recommendations on what supplements fit my goals. According to my body fat reader I'm right around 10%. Problem is all the fat I have left is right around my beltline all the way around.
If you have fat around your beltline, then you are not at 10% body fat.

Have you looked into the QX60? My wife went from a Tahoe to the QX60 and she loves it. Still has the 3rd row with easy access with two car seats. Gets about 21 MPG also.
