What a stupid arse way to end a great game. Absolutely no flow whatsoever to this 4th quarter.

OKC only has two made threes, how is this game even close? Feels like Indy should be up 10.

Yeah Arizona got rid of theirs a few years ago too.

This officiating has been so bad
Indiana would be up 15 if not for these weak arse calls.

Our team went to shite once Frenchy left and the boring arse CJ showed up fwiw
Yep. CJ is atrocious for TV. Just rambles constantly as the game is happening. Nobody is paying attention to that. He'd be much better on radio.

Bruh 3 pages in and ain't no one mentioned Port Barre as a speed trap town?
I take 190 to BR every weekend during football season. Krotz Springs is where it gets real trappy lol the cop either sits at the base or the bridge going west or eastbound right when you get into KS. I'm usually stopping at Billy's so I keep my head on a swivel lol

As for Rosepine, I have extended family from there. My maternal grandparents grew up in Rosepine during the Depression, got married there in 1941 just before WW2 then moved to Lake Charles. We go to Lewis Cemetery in Deridder every year on Easter weekend, and a few years ago went up to Rosepine to try to find the old farm but we couldn't find it. My mom lights up about Ethan Frey because of the Rosepine connection.
There really is something special about small town Louisiana. I miss it sometimes.
There is nothing like it. I'm from here, graduated from Rosepine and I've been back 4 years now after graduating from LSU.
I do radio for Vernon, Beauregard and Allen Parish High School sports. Seeing how much stuff like this means to these communities is one of my favorite parts of the job. There really is nothing like the support from the smaller communities. I've been to every high school state tournament/championship and the schools that bring the most fans are almost always the smaller classes/divisions.
I've been able to call 3 of my school's state championships since I've been back (Ethan's senior year of baseball and back to back girls' basketball championships) and it'll be something I'll cherish forever.
Nohing compares to the fan support from the smaller schools.

Y'all getting hung up on the word coonass & it's meaning LOL. Technically you're correct I reckon but I'm from there and plenty of prominent business men drove trucks with a bumper plate of a coon pulling his tail showing his brown eye, saying "I'm proud to be a coon arse." Just my experience from growing up in Leesville, LA.
I mean that's not what you said at all but that's okay. We don't have to sensationalize every small town story with a bunch of extra fluff. Most people that live in or around small towns in LA know how they work lol

but I'm from there
So am I. I'm actually looking at the sign as I type this
It's all good though

LOL the speed trap sign is from a coonass that got lit-up there.
Lol no it isn't. It was put there by Robert Kite (RIP). The sign literally says "Paid for by Robert Kite"

I know Frey's dad was or is in the military. That may be how Frey ended up there as well.
Correct. I think Ethan was either in kindergarten or Pre-K when they moved in. His sister is a few years younger than me. I graduated in 2009 and I'm now realizing how long ago that was  Go Eagles!
It's been awesome to see our school and community highlighted on a national stage this season. Ethan deserves all of the success and recognition he's gotten. He's a great kid and comes from a great family.

I do several ball games for radio for the parish. You barely have people who can work and pay attention the game to run a scoreboard/game clock. Then add the requirement of a constant shot clock reset. Would be a clusterF at some places.
I can vouch for this as well. I do radio for our area (and sit at the scorers table) and there are places i go that are a complete disaster. If i can keep track of points, fouls, etc, all while doing play-by-play better than the person at the table then we got problems
But I'm totally in favor of a shot clock. Even 45 seconds to a minute is fine with me.

Money. International market more viewers and ads.
No I completely understand. I'm meaning why should I care about them celebrating high ratings that include the Japanese market when you can't even watch your local team?
I guess what I'm saying is, them putting the Japanese market in with US viewership just shows you that they don't care about the American fan. They'll continue to shove the Dodgers down your throat because they're raking in money from the international market.
But yeah... it was all Ippei's fault

Why do we care about the viewership in Japan?
