What's next for casual soccer fan?

Posted by PearlsLSU on 7/20/26 at 3:52 pm
My daughter just made a 9u semi travel team and we enjoyed watching the World Cup together. What are some good options moving forward to continue watching together. I guess looking for both an easy team to root for and a somewhat easy for us to access and watch the games on TV option.
Pick a Premier League Team or LaLiga team?
Follow the Champions League?
Any suggestions for teams and how to watch?
Played Sequoyah National Gold Club last summer and it was beautiful. Great course. Tons of elevation change though.
I wonder if they are going to eventually let us hit off the grass now that the pros aren’t coming. I guess it would need to be on some schedule with all of that grass being in front of all the bays.
They told me likely end of May last weekend when I was in the clubhouse.

Same here. The John Wells series is pretty good as well.

I’ll give it a try. I couldn’t really get into Mitch Rapp as much.
I’m listening to the Orphan X series right now and enjoying it.
Nothing to do with LIV. Except the company has lost all funding and their chairman stepped down today. What do you want Louisiana to do. Pay them the other $6million. Or get their $1 million back and cut fricking losses with this obviously doomed tour. Nothing to do with LIV…
I hear you. I live right down the street and have been missing the driving range. Hopefully they can open up sooner now since it doesn’t have to be immaculate for the pros in June.
Leaving it there with no dates so they don’t have to offer those refunds probably.
The boarded up windows add a nice touch to the finishing hole.

True. I’ll be on the lookout for them this evening. Looks like rain Saturday night into Sunday so may slow the greens down some for the kids.

They can improve lie 1 club length no closer to hole. And they can use range finders.

My 14 yr old son is playing the US Kids Tour there this Sunday. Never been. How is it and any tips?

Work will be tough. Let's go.
He’s doing interviews during the par 3 contest. It’s not like he’s doing play by play with Jim Nantz on Sunday.
