I had dinner last week with some friends and we ran into Tucker Ward. He is a mid week pitcher for La Tech. I asked him why they did not play us and he said something about how LSU would not honor a home/home series a few years ago. So their coach has beef against LSU. He was actually glad that they didn't play LSU. Said they sucked bad :lol:

John Mayer had some of the same complaints with his most recent album. Mostly it was thr mellow fans who want the same beat, same hook, and the same lyric. But these guys have to stretch themselves or they burn out. I think that is what JT is doing. He is going into unknown territory.

I have enjoyed all his albums. But Carencro is so hard to top. I love the nastieness of his voice. The first time I listened to him, I swore be was black.

It is definitely different than any he has ever done. The record had grown on me with each listen. I don't think it will have as many hits as his previous album. But it id a solid return back to music.

It is tougher for LSU fans outside of La. to have better tabs on baseball than football. I keep up with the final scores of the baseball games, but I cannot carry a conversation about sluggish bat performance. However, football has the ability to be on a national broadcast on every weekend in the fall. So I would definitely label myself a better football follower.
