A player is out of bounds when any part of his body is touching anything, [u]other than another player or game official[/u], that is out of bounds.
I did not see the play, but it sounds like the defender is out of bounds but the receiver would not be out of bounds until part of his ...

I've got some infield dirt from Rosenblatt from the 2000 CWS championship game. Gave a grounds crew member 5 bucks to get it for me. I also have some infield dirt from the last game at the old Box....
