Down 7

Ray Rice left to play, I am feeling good about this week.
Oh I was just backing up where you stated Big 10 has done well recently playing SEC schools.

SEC vs Big 10

5-5 previous 10 bowl games encounters and 10-10 in previous 20.

This year we have
LSU vs Penn State
Northwestern vs Auburn

So it could continue to be .500 depending on outcome.

yet your statement was

They finished 3rd in the toughest conference playing defenses tougher than PSU faces in the Big Ten. LSU competed against Bama and Florida. PSU got arse raped by Iowa and tOSU

When in fact Penn State has played tougher defenses.

LSU has played- Florida, ALabama, Ole Miss, Georiga, Auburn that finished .500 or better

Penn State has played- Ohio State, Temple, Northwestern, Iowa, Michigan State, and Minnesota.

LSU does win on SOS however but it is not a whopping gap as CBS list it at 54 Penn State and 33 LSU.

Here you go

LSU 49 4/5* and 14 no longer on team
Florida 46 4/5* and 7 no longer on team
Alabama 48 4/5* and 6 no longer on team

That encompasses 2007-2009 recruiting class, Here if you wanna double check and see that I am right Rivals

So those highly ranked recruiting classes, do not look as highly ranked once you take out the players that are no longer on the team.

Also, is reading an issue? When did I, as you so previously stated

Yeah, you know those two posts where you said I was afraid of answering your question?
can you link where I said you were afraid?

Penn State has also played 2 top 10 defenses, and Florida was #4 when they played LSU btw...

Therefore, looking purely at the numbers Penn State has played a harder slate on defenses compared to LSU.

Its the previous 3 recruiting seasons with number of stars coming from rivals. So all 3 of those recruiting classes were recruited by Saban/Miles/Meyer. In case math is bad, that is 07/08/09 classes.

quote:

Ohh yeah. That gap between UF, UA, and LSU is just GIANT. I don't know why we even walk on the field with them. The other teams are recruiting better and there's nothing we can do about it besides continue to pull down top 3,5 and 10 classes, which we have done. Are you suggesting that we sabotage the other schools?

Actually the gap is getting larger based on the fact LSU is losing more of that highly ranked talent that the 2 schools that are currently ahead of them. Hmmmm Florida and Bama have already recruited more 4/5* than LSU in past 3 seasons and yet they have managed to keep more of that talent. Yes LSU is ahead still

This question was dumb. I knew it would be dumb from your accusations of me ignoring it. Now please wipe that confused look off of your face and don't ever call me out again.

Actually it is not dumb, it is a legit question based on quality of players loss in comparisons to what some consider LSU's biggest rivals.

Calling you out? Really is that an internet threat? Are you really that pathetic?
LSU and Penn State have each played 3 teams in Top 25 in Total Defense/Scoring Defense

LSU has played 4 teams in Top 50
Penn State has played 6 teams in Top 50

LSU has played 4 teams ranked between 75-120 in Total Defense

Penn State has played 3 teams ranked between 75-120 in Total Defense

re: frick Olsen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Olsen recently had become Cutlers favorite target. Last week and this week is the only times Witten had reached double digits in points for my league and has a grand total of 1 touchdown.

Eh... I am still only down 13 with Sidney Rice playing and Ray Rice to go. My bench has 104 points with 2 players left to go though which sucks for me. While my starters have 67 points and 1 in play/1 left to play.

re: frick Olsen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am feeling your pain, he had been solid past couple weeks as I had started him over Witten recently. Today it bit me in the arse though

re: Thank you Jason Witten

Posted by Geaux Shaggy on 12/6/09 at 9:34 pm
Yeah on my bench...
Got tired of his 3/4/5 point weeks and played the hotter hand in Olsen who had been reaching between 7-11 points for me.

re: Screw you Jay Cutler

Posted by Geaux Shaggy on 12/6/09 at 9:31 pm
Why cause Witten has reached double digit points only twice this year while Olsen has done it 3 times? Because Olsen has averaged 7 points per contest to Whitten's 5.5?

Or because in past 3 weeks Forsett has given me 59 points compared to 28 for Forte?

How about Calvin Johnson who has put up 5 or less points 5 times already this season? While past 6 weeks Maroney has reached double digits 5 times and 4 times going over 15 points?

This is completely false

Again why is my question being avoided, it is legit also. But alas I guess it is easier to answer nonsensical rantards than actual questions

No offense, but I don't think they've played UF, Bama, Ole Miss, Arky, etc...just sayi

Eh I had never been to Disney... When we went then we went at night and went to a little club they had there. Did not do anything like walk the park, or ride the rides.
Our reservations were from 31st to 4th but after the loss we left the next day. Kinda ruined the entire mood of the trip
